SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 12-4 all-time against Curry in a season that dates back to the 1981-82 campaign.
• The Beavers have won nine straight games in the series although Monday's matchup will be the first between the teams since 1989.
• In 16 games between Babson and the Colonels, just two games - a 48-47 2OT loss in 1988 and a 63-62 loss in 1989 – have been decided by less than 10 points.

• Babson (1-0) got the season underway with a 71-53 win at Roger Williams on Friday night.

Alyssa Hopps both added 10 points for the Beavers, who built a 42-27 halftime lead.
• The Green and White returns three starters and nine players in all from a team that finished 16-10 overall and 8-3 in NEWMAC play last winter.
• Reale earned All-NEWMAC second-team honors after averaging 11.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.0 steals, while Flynn is coming off a breakout campaign that saw her average career highs of 9.8 points and 6.8 boards while shooting 39.4 percent from beyond the arc.
SCOUTING THE COLONELS
• Curry (0-0) returns 10 players and four of its top five scorers from a team that went 8-17 in 2024-25.
• Lauren Dunn averaged 12.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and a team-high 1.6 steals, while Sophie Hilburnner contributed 10.7 points on 43 percent shooting and a team-high 6.8 rebounds in 18 games.
• Lauren Morse (9.3 pts, 2.1 reb) knocked down 55 three-pointers and shot 40 percent from beyond the arc, while Kasey Reeves averaged 8.5 points and 6.4 boards in 19 contests.
• The Colonels averaged 57.9 points on 36.1 percent shooting last winter, and ranked second in the Conference of New England (CNE) forcing 19.8 turnovers.
BEAVERS PICKED SECOND BY NEWMAC COACHES
• Babson received one first-place vote and was chosen to finish second when the conference released its preseason coaches' poll back in late October.
• The Beavers finished with 104 points behind only Smith, which has won five consecutive NEWMAC titles and is the two-time reigning Division III runner-up.
• Emerson, Springfield, MIT and Coast Guard rounded out the top half of the poll.
DOUBLE TROUBLE
• Flynn, who led the team in rebounding last winter, recorded a team-high seven double-doubles, while Reale posted the first three double-doubles of her career last year.
• The duo also finished first and second on the team in both assists and free throw attempts, Reale led the Green and White with 49 steals and Flynn was second on the squad with a career-high 43 three-pointers.
FINISHING STRONG
• Over the last eight games of last season, the Beavers allowed just 53.5 points on 36.5 percent shooting while forcing nearly 18 turnovers per contest.
• Offensively, the Green and White averaged 69.6 points, shot 43.7 percent from the floor and owned a 7.5 rebounding margin.
• The Beavers also outscored opponents by 105 points in the first half during this stretch and led at halftime in seven of the eight games.
THREE AT A TIME
• Babson, which finished last season ranked second in Division III shooting 38.1 percent from beyond the arc, attempted 42 three-pointers in Friday's season opener.
• Sixteen of the Beavers' first 18 shots at Roger Williams came from long range and the 42 attempts are the team's most under third-year head coach

• Babson's 12 three-point field goals marked the ninth it has made double-digit triples since the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers outrebounded Roger Williams 56-40 and finished with 21 offensive boards in Friday's win.
• Babson assisted on 15 of its 22 made field goals and committed just 13 turnovers versus the Hawks.
• The Green and White has won six consecutive games on the road going back to January of last season.
• The Beavers are 25-4 since the start of the 2023-24 campaign when holding their foes below 60 points.
