Sophia Shaw tied for match-high honors with 13 digs for Babson, which pulled away late in each set and hit .253 as a team.
• Amelia Combs recorded eight kills and six digs, Mia Rodriguez dished out 20 assists and Caroline Davis had a team-high 13 digs for the Lions, who matched their lowest hitting percentage of the season (.082) in the loss.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (10-3, 4-0 NEWMAC) has won six consecutive matches after sweeping Coast Guard (25-19, 25-18, 25-21) on Saturday afternoon.

Angelina Holm hit .529 and added nine kills, and Ackerman contributed 30 assists, five digs, three kills and two blocks for the Beavers, who finished with a .253 hitting percentage.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
• Emerson (10-7, 3-1 NEWMAC) has won seven of its last nine matches and bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Springfield with a 3-0 victory over Southern Maine in a tri-match on Saturday.
• Dalena Garrett recorded 13 kills, Sophia Schiappa contributed 17 assists, seven kills and five digs, and Chloe Hokenson added 12 assists and six digs for the Lions, who recorded their second highest hitting percentage of the fall (.321) in the win over the Huskies.
• Shirley Yu ranks third in the NEWMAC in kills per set (3.51), Rachel Dickerson is averaging 2.65 kills and 1.70 digs per set, and Lizi Horning is contributing 1.75 kills per set.
• Catherine McDonough leads the team with 28 total blocks, Hokenson and Schiappa have combined to hand out 8.74 assists per set, and Sami Kim is averaging 3.03 digs per set.
NEWMAC BY THE NUMBERS
• Through its first four NEWMAC matches, the Green and White ranks second in hitting percentage (.257), kills per set (12.00) and blocks per set (2.13).
• Holm ranks second in hitting percentage (.472), Ackerman is second in assists per set (9.13), May is third in kills per set (3.88) and Fouche ranks third in blocks per set (0.90) in four matches versus league foes.
