SERIES HISTORY
• The Beavers are 29-48-8 all-time against Norwich in a series that dates back to the 1975-76 campaign.
• Babson owns a 4-3-1 lead over Norwich over the past three seasons after Norwich had captured six out of seven meetings over the previous three campaigns.
• The Green and White are 5-3-2 against the Cadets at the Babson Skating Center going back to 2015.

LAST MEETING
• Sophomore Sean Senier scored his first career goal to break a 1-1 tie early in the third period and sophomore Mason Rosado made 27 saves as Babson nipped No. 9 Norwich, 2-1, on February 9, 2024 inside the Babson Skating Center.
• Junior Danny Cavanagh also scored for the Beavers and classmate Nolan Dion, Colby Bailey '24 and sophomore CJ Beals collected assists in the win.
• Sophomore Owen Sclisizzi tallied the lone goal for the Cadets, with assists from classmate Ben van Waterschoot and senior Jason Galotti. Sophomore Bryce Walcarius made 21 saves in goal but suffered his first loss of the season (6-1-2).

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (10-8-1, 8-6-0 NEHC) is coming off a victory and an overtime loss at Elmira last weekend in western New York, winning 3-2 on Friday before taking a 3-2 OT setback on Saturday.
• Graduate student Johnny McElaney, first-year Raphael Marcoux, and junior Brendan Kennedy scored in a four-minute span in the third period as the Beavers pulled out Friday's triumph, and junior Ian Driscoll and sophomore Joseph Kramer potted goals for the Green and White on Saturday. Rosado registered 41 saves in goal in the two outings.
• Kennedy (12-4-16) leads the NEHC in goals after having his six-game goal streak snapped on Saturday. Senior Wyatt George (7-8-15) leads the team in assists and is second in goals and points. Driscoll (5-6-11) and Kramer (5-5-10) are third on the team in goals and McElaney (3-7-10) and junior Ryan Murphy (3-7-10) are second in assists.
• Rosado (3.64 GAA, .872 sv. pct.) is 4-4-1 in nine starts while junior Nate Mueller (2.47 GAA, .917 sv. pct.) is 5-3-0 in eight starts between the pipes.

SCOUTING THE CADETS
• Norwich (8-6-3, 7-3-2 NEHC) is looking to bounce back from a pair of 4-1 losses at No. 1 Hobart last weekend in Geneva, N.Y.
• Junior Johnny Johnson notched a power play goal for the Cadets in Friday's setback and classmate Matt Harvey put up a goal on Saturday. Sami Molu finished with 38 saves in the first game of the weekend and added 36 stops in the rematch.
• Senior Clark Kerner (6-5-11) produced an assist on Friday's goal and leads the team in scoring. Johnson (4-4-8) had a three-game goal streak snapped on Saturday and senior Bryan O'Mara (2-6-8) had a three-game point streak snapped the same day.
• Molu (2.03 GAA, .929 sv. pct) has gone the distance in goal in every Norwich game this season and ranks third in the NEHC in goals against average, third in saves (457) and fourth in save percentage.

HOME ICE ADVANTAGE
• The Beavers have won five straight home games and are 7-1 at the Babson Skating Center this season, with five wins by just one goal.
• The Green and White are 24-6-3 on home ice over the past three seasons and 66-18-7 at home since 2017-18.

HEADING DOWN THE STRETCH
• With four weeks remaining in the regular season, Babson (8-6-0, 26 pts) and Norwich (7-3-2, 23 pts) are in second and third place in the NEHC, with the Cadets having two games in hand over the Beavers.
• Salve Regina (7-7-0, 21 pts), Albertus Magnus (7-4-1, 21 pts) and Elmira (7-4-1, 20 pts) are close behind in the 4-5-6 positions.
• No. 1 Hobart (12-0-0, 36 pts), seeking its third consecutive league title, remains undefeated on the season at 17-0-0.

BABSON VS. THE CADETS
• George (7 gms, 1-2-3) and Ryan Murphy (5 gms, 0-3-3) are the active career scoring leaders for Babson against Norwich, while Cavanagh (3 gms, 2-0-2), Kennedy (5 gms, 1-1-2) and Senier (2 gms, 1-1-2) have two points each.
• Rosado won his only start vs. the  Cadets, making 27 saves on 28 shots last season, while Mueller made 29 saves in a 4-1 loss last season in his only appearance vs. Norwich.

BUSY BEAVERS
• Kennedy has nine points in his last seven games on six goals and three assists.
• Graduate student Kyle Gierman has an assist in six of his last eight outings.
• McElaney scored a goal in three straight outings before being silenced last Saturday.

BEAVER NUGGETS
• Gierman leads the team with a +11 plus/minus ranking, with Kennedy (+8) and Beals (+8) rounding out the top three.
• Kennedy is 14th in Division III in goals per game (0.67) and 10th with three game-winning goals.
• The Green and White are ranked 22nd in Division III in power play percentage (0.240).
• The Beavers are third in the NEHC with 61 goals scored.
