•    The Beavers and Seahawks met for the first time as conference foes last season and have faced each other just twice dating back to 2003.
•    Saturday's contest marks the Green and White's first visit to Newport since November 2002.

LAST MEETING
•    Senior Katelyn Mollica scored 18 points and Madison Odam '24 and sophomore Samantha Reale contributed 15 points apiece to lead four players in double figures as the Beavers defeated Salve Regina, 83-69, on January 20, 2024, in Babson Park.
•    Reale added four steals, senior Emily Flynn finished with 10 points and nine rebounds, and classmate Abby Miller chipped in with nine points and three steals for Babson, which raced out to a 27-13 lead early in the second quarter.
•    Sofia Neary led all players with 21 points and 13 rebounds, Briana Neary scored 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting and Ashley Rourke contributed 15 points for the Seahawks, who got as close as three in the closing seconds of the third period.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS

•    Mollica scored 12 points, junior Allessia Carlo finished with 11 points and four steals, and first-year Mary Kate Flynn added season highs of eight points and six rebounds for the Beavers, who rallied from an 11-point deficit to take a 48-44 lead late in the third quarter.

DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES

•    Despite the setback, the Green and White held the Pioneers to their lowest scoring output at home (56 points) since January 19, 2022.

MOLLICA APPROACHES THREE-POINT RECORD
•    After going 4-of-6 on Wednesday at Smith, Mollica has connected on 180 career three-pointers and is now just 10 away from Erin Young's '15 Babson record of 190.

•    The first Babson player to reach the 100-game mark since Emily Bonifacic '20, Silk has posted three double-doubles and is averaging career highs of 7.2 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 52.3 percent in 15 games this winter.

•    Emily Flynn has scored in double figures in seven of the last eight contests and leads the Beavers with five double-doubles.
•    Mary Kate Flynn and fellow first-years Madison Hart and Julia St. Laurent combined to score 18 points on 8-of-17 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds on Wednesday night at Smith.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
