SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 9-8-0 all-time against Elmira in a series that dates back to 1977-78.
• The Beavers won four in a row over the Soaring Eagles from February 2022 to November 2023 but Elmira has taken the last two meetings.
• The Green and White are 2-4 at Elmira in the last 20 years, including back-to-back wins in 2022 and a pair of losses in Pine Valley last winter.

• Amadeo Mastrangeli '24 scored the game-winning goal less than nine minutes into overtime as fourth-seeded and eighth-ranked Elmira edged fifth-seeded Babson, 3-2, in a New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Tournament quarterfinal on February 17, 2024, inside the Murray Athletic Center.

• Nicholas Domitrovic '24 scored the first two goals for the Soaring Eagles, classmate Janis Vizbelis registered a pair of assists, and Mastrangeli, graduate student Chance Gorman and senior Nathan Young collected one assist each. Junior Kyle Curtin finished with 35 saves to record the win in goal.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (9-7-1, 7-5-0 NEHC) is looking to get back on track after a pair of tough losses at NEHC newcomer Albertus Magnus, 4-2 and 5-4 (OT), last weekend in New Haven, Conn.
• Kennedy tallied a goal and an assist for the Beavers in Saturday's overtime setback, and juniors

• Mueller (2.47 GAA, .917 sv. pct.) has been between the pipes for eight straight games after Rosado (3.97 GAA, .867 sv. pct.) started seven of the first nine.
SCOUTING THE SOARING EAGLES
• Elmira (9-4-2, 6-3-1 NEHC) has won four of its last five outings after splitting a series at UMass Boston last weekend, winning 4-2 on Saturday after a 2-1 loss on Friday.
• Young, Gorman, senior Cole Tucker and first-year Corbin Melie all scored in Saturday's victory and graduate student Ryan Reifler set a career high in helpers after assisting on all four goals. Graduate student Bailey Krawczyk potted the lone goal in Friday's setback. Junior Brody Haynes made 42 saves in the opener on Friday and Curtin stopped 42 shots on Saturday.
• Reifler (6-9-15) has three goals and six assists in his last four games to move into the team scoring lead. Young (6-8-14) has reached his career high in scoring and Gorman (5-9-14) registered his 100th career point (50g, 50a) with his goal on Saturday.
• Haynes (2.38 GAA, .924 sv. pct.) is 6-3-1 in 10 starts for the Soaring Eagles and Curtin (2.26 GAA, .934 sv. pct.) is 3-1 in four starts.
CHECKING THE NEHC STANDINGS
• Babson (7-5-0, 21 pts) holds down third place in the NEHC through 12 games, trailing unbeaten Hobart (10-0-0, 30 pts) and Norwich (7-1-2, 23 pts), which both have two games in hand over the Beavers.
• Salve Regina (6-6-0, 19 pts), Elmira (6-3-1, 18 pts), and Albertus Magnus (6-3-1, 17 pts) are in a battle for the final home-ice berth in the first round of the NEHC playoffs.
• Skidmore (5-7-0, 15 pts) and UMass Boston (4-8-0, 12 pts) are in position for the final two playoff berths, while New England College (3-6-1, 11 pts) has two games in hand over UMB.
