ANDOVER, Mass.—The Babson College men's alpine ski team swept the podium and placed four skiers in the top six on the way to recording its second victory of the weekend in the slalom at Proctor Ski Area on Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers, who have now won four straight MacConnell Division races over two carnivals to begin the season, finished almost nine seconds ahead of second-place Castleton. Clarkson came in third, while UConn was a distant fourth.

Mads Fondevik Syversen (Oslo, Norway) recorded the fastest time in both runs among MacConnell Division competitors to post his second straight first-place finish and third of the season with a time of 1:26.67. First-year
James Rosenbloom (Stowe, Vt.) was just 1.06 seconds behind him in second, while junior
Elliott Perretta (Annecy, France) came in third with a time of 1:28.05.

Connor Roy (Wellesley, Mass.) finished in sixth place with a time of 1:29.08, classmate
Moksh Patel (Edgewater, N.J.) posted a 16th-place showing by crossing the finish line in a time of 1:33.63, and junior
Sebastian Sheppard (Park City, Utah) was just 0.58 seconds behind him in 17th position. Sophomore
Allesio Della Casa (Geneva, Switzerland) recorded a two-run time of 1:39.24 to finish in 25th place.
Babson returns to action next Friday when it travels to Lake Placid, N.Y., for two days of giant slalom races at Whiteface Mountain.
