ANDOVER, N.H.—Sophomore
Mads Fondevik Syversen (Oslo, Norway) recorded his second victory of the season and Babson College claimed four of the top five spots on the individual leaderboard on the way to winning the slalom at Proctor Ski Area on Friday afternoon.
The Beavers made it three wins in three races to begin the season as their top three skiers finished more than seven seconds ahead of second-place Castleton. Clarkson finished 4.32 seconds behind the Spartans in third place.
Syversen found himself 0.06 seconds behind first-year teammate
Connor Roy (Wellesley, Mass.) following the first run but posted the fastest second run among MacConnell Division competitors to finish 0.94 seconds ahead of the field with a time of 1:30.17. First-year
James Rosenbloom (Stowe, Vt.) came in third with a time of 1:31.16, junior
Elliott Perretta (Annecy, France) was fourth with a time of 1:31.38 and Roy placed fifth after crossing the finish line in 1:31.43.

Jett Sheppard (Park City, Utah) finished in 11th position with a time of 1:35.64, one spot of ahead of junior
Sebastian Sheppard (Park City, Utah), who recorded a time of 1:36.11. First-year
Moksh Patel (Edgewater, N.J.) finished 14th just 0.36 seconds behind Sheppard, while sophomore
Alessio Della Casa (Geneva, Switzerland) came in 27th with a time of 1:43.73.
Babson will wrap up the weekend with a second slalom race on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
