• Babson (9-5-1, 5-3-0 NEHC) brings a season-best five-game winning streak into the weekend after sweeping Vermont State Castleton last weekend, 4-1 and 7-5, at the Babson Skating Center.

Nate Mueller (1.98 GAA, .930 sv. pct.) has been between the pipes for all five games of the team's winning streak, posting a 2.00 goals against average and a .925 save percentage since Thanksgiving.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS
• Albertus Magnus (7-5-1, 4-3-1 NEHC) swept a pair of conference games over Southern Maine last weekend in New Haven, including a program-record for goals in a game in a 10-1 win on Friday night and a 4-3 verdict on Saturday.
• Senior Sam Anderson and first-year Maksim Tsegelnik each registered hat tricks in Friday's victory, and senior Tyler Ignazzitto, junior Bailey Kirwin and sophomore Paden Hicks each had a goal and an assist and Caden Pattison chipped in with a goal. The Falcons had four different goal scorers on Saturday as first-year Andrew Van Antwerp, junior Connor Bertamini, senior Tim Manning and sophomore Kyle Dann put goals on the board.
• Hicks (4-9-13) tops the Falcons in scoring with Ignazzitto (3-8-11) right behind. The Falcons have a balanced offense with Hicks, Anderson (4-5-9), and Pattison (4-3-7) sharing the team lead with four goals and five others with three, Ignazzitto, Manning (3-6-9), sophomore Kyle Dann (3-5-8), sophomore William Lavigne (3-1-4) and Tsegelnik (3-0-3).
• First-year Chace Hale (3-3-0, 1.87 GAA, .940 sv. pct.) and graduate student Matt Lenz (4-2-1, 2.48 GAA, .908 sv. pct.) have alternated appearances in goal all season for the Falcons.
CHECKING THE NEHC STANDINGS
• Babson (7-3-0) holds down second place in the NEHC with 21 points through 10 games, trailing unbeaten Hobart (10-0-0) which has 30 points.
• Norwich (5-1-2) is tied for third with Salve Regina (6-4-0) with 17 points, although the Cadets have two games in hand over both Babson and Salve.
• Skidmore (5-5-0) and Elmira (5-2-1) are tied for fifth with 15 points, while Albertus Magnus (4-3-1) is seventh with 12 points and UMass Boston (3-7-0) owns the final playoff spot with nine points.

• Kennedy has scored in three straight games, putting up five points (3g, 2a) since the semester break.
• Driscoll and Fallon each have at least one point in four of their last five outings.
• McElaney scored his first two goals in a Beaver uniform in back-to-back games against Castleton.
