Sam Morgan M'24 scored a pair of second-half goals to help visiting Babson defeat Western New England, 2-0, on September 14, 2023 at Suprenant Field in Springfield.
• Morgan opened the scoring in the 63rd minute and then put the game away by converting a penalty kick in the81st minute for the Green and White, which was outshot 13-12 in the match.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN BEARS
• Western New England (2-2-2) enters Saturday's match looking to snap a two-game winless skid after playing to a 1-1 draw with Union on Wednesday.
• Keegan Reim scored on a free kick to tie the game in the 68th minute for the Golden Bears, who outshot the Garnet Chargers 21-6 and got four saves from Braylon Casinghino.
• Tyler Lewis (3-0-6) has scored all three of his goal over the last three games, Mike Milazzo (1-2-4) leads the team in assists and Reim has tallied twice for an offense that has produced 11 goals over its first six games.
• Casinghino has started each of Western New England's first six matches and owns a 1.33 goals against average and a .795 save percentage.

SOMETHING IN COMMON
• Babson and Western New England share one common opponent in Wesleyan in addition to the Golden Bears facing a pair of NEWMAC foes over the first two weeks of the season.
• The Beavers played Wesleyan to a 0-0 draw in Middletown, Conn., last Saturday, while Western New England suffered a 1-0 loss to the Cardinals back on September 3.
• The Golden Bears also played to a 1-1 draw at Clark in its lone road game on September 1 and dropped a 2-1 decision to MIT at home last Sunday.
GETTING TO KNOW THE CNE
• Saturday's match marks is the second of three straight home games against opponents from the Conference of New England (formerly the CCC).
