SCOUTING THE HAWKS
•   Hartford (4-14-1) has dropped 10 of its last 11 games and is coming off a 15-8 setback against Eastern Nazarene on Sunday.Â
•   Jake Santiago went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and three runs scored, Jackson Ciccone was 3-for-5 with a double and Jeremy Mangiameli singled twice and drove in a pair of runs for the Hawks, who led 8-3 after five innings.Â
•   Alek Popovich is batting .400 with seven extra-base hits, 13 RBI and 15 runs scored, Ciccone is hitting .357 with four extra-base hits, eight RBI and a team-high 18 runs scored, and Mangiameli enters the week with a .283 average to go along with three doubles, two homers and 13 runs batted in.Â

FINKELSTEIN COLLECTS CONFERENCE HONOR
•   After winning his fourth straight decision on Saturday, Finkelstein was selected as the NEWMAC Pitcher of the Week on Monday.Â
•   He gave up just two hits while striking out four over 7.0 innings as the Beavers defeated Clark, 4-0.Â
•   Finkelstein, who has not allowed a run over his last two starts, is 4-1 with a 4.24 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 34.0 innings over six appearances this spring, and is holding opposing hitters to a .215 average.Â
STRONG STARTS
•   Finkelstein became the fourth consecutive Babson starter to go at least seven innings while allowing three runs or fewer over the last week.Â
