SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 24-3 all-time against Clark in a series that dates back to 1994.
• The Beavers have won three in a row in the series since 2021 but the Cougars captured three out of four from 2017-19, including a pair of one-goal games in 2019.

• Benjamin Hollerbach '23M had four goals, senior Patrick Liddy scored twice and classmate Colin Howard added a goal and two assists to pace the Cougars. Mark Zito '23M collected nine ground balls and won 14-of-33 face-offs, while Ryan Mickelson '23M stopped 14 shots in the loss.

• No. 11 USILA/No. 9 USA Lacrosse Babson (11-3, 5-0 NEWMAC) is looking to bounce back after having its 10-game winning streak snapped at No. 4/4 Tufts, 17-11, on Tuesday in Medford.

Alex Fascilla made 19 saves in goal, his second-most in a game this season.

Topher Bower (13-31-44) and Smith (10-28-38) are second and third in the league in assists, and first-year

Chip Quinn (12) are the team leaders in caused turnovers. Fascilla (8.82 GAA, .618 sv. pct) tops the conference in both goals against average and save percentage, and ranks 11th in Division III in save percentage and 25th in GAA.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
• Clark (4-9, 1-4 NEWMAC) is coming off an 8-7 victory over Wheaton on Saturday in Worcester, snapping a five-game losing streak.
• Senior Patrick Liddy scored two goals to spark a four-goal fourth-quarter rally in the victory. Classmate Matthew Minkwitz finished with three goals, junior Mason Kaufmann added a pair, and senior Colin Howard contributed a goal and an assist. Sophomore Patrick O'Rourke won 13-of-17 face-offs and collected 12 ground balls, sophomore Lucas Cuda caused three turnovers and grabbed three ground balls, and graduate student Dylan Harloff made 13 saves in the win.
• Minkwitz (26-15-41) tops the Cougars in scoring while junior Matt Wells (18-11-29), Howard (17-11-28) and Liddy (17-6-23) are solid goal scorers and senior Attilio LaVecchia (8-16-24) leads the team in assists. First-year Huy Doan has won 77-of-171 face-offs (.450) and O'Rourke has won 53-of-95 (.558).
• Cuda has a team-high 21 caused turnovers, and Harloff (11.59 GAA, .560 sv. pct) has started 11 of the 13 games and ranks third in the NEWMAC in save percentage.
CHECKING THE NEWMAC STANDINGS
• Babson (5-0) has clinched at least a tie for the regular season crown and the top seed in the conference tournament and can win it outright with a victory in one of its two remaining games.
• There is a four-way tie for second place between Wheaton, Salve Regina, MIT and Springfield, all with 3-2 conference records. They will likely comprise the remaining four spots in the tournament with the final two games sorting out the seeds. Emerson, Clark and Coast Guard are tied for sixth, all at 1-4.
NEWMAC POWERHOUSE
• The Green and White have won 11 straight NEWMAC regular season games going back to last season and are 17-3 against conference foes in since the start of the 2021 campaign.
• Babson has won two of the last three conference tournament titles.
NCAA LEADERS
• Babson ranks fifth in Division III in man-up offense, converting 54.8 percent with a man advantage.
• The Green and White are 32nd in face-off percentage, winning at a .607 clip, and 18th in clearing percentage (.878).
• The Beavers are 25th in scoring offense (15.14) and 24th in scoring margin (+5.71).
IN THE RECORD BOOKS
• With 52 goals, Rainville is just the third player in program history to score 50 goals in a season. He trails Josh Shaffer (71 goals in 1995) and
Chi Chi Price (65 goals in 2023) on Babson's single-season goal scoring list.
• Rainville's 68 points also ranks tied for fifth on the single-season list, and is five points shy of fourth place PJ Yeatman (73 in 1991).
• Bower's 31 assists is tied for eighth with Jay Conroy (1979) and Josh Shaffer (1995) on the single-season assist chart. Bower is also eighth on the career assist list with 62 helpers.
• Fascilla is tied for fourth on the single-season list with 10 victories, trailing only
Will Parducci (13 in 2023), John Schmidt (12 in 1997) and Adam Daroff (11 in 2014).
BEAVER BITES
• Rainville has produced points in 42 consecutive games and goals in 41 straight dating back to his career at Connecticut College.
• Bower has an 18-game point streak dating back to last season.
