Box Score WORCESTER, Mass.— The 20th-ranked Babson College women's tennis team got points in both singles and doubles from five different players en route to a 9-0 victory over Clark University in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's tennis match Tuesday afternoon at the Corash Tennis Courts.

With its 13th consecutive NEWMAC regular season victory since last year, Babson improved to 9-4 overall and 5-0 in conference play. Clark dropped its fourth straight match and fell to 3-8 overall and 0-5 in the NEWMAC.

Senior Jane Wang (San Diego, Calif.), junior Laetitia Rizk (Beirut, Lebanon), sophomores Elena Keitt (Austin, Texas) and Mariana Campos (Houston, Texas), and first-year Dana Kamal (Cairo, Egypt) were all double winners for the Beavers, while first-year Chaniel Soffer (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) took the number one singles match and sophomore Shyla Khattar (New Delhi, India) was on the winning tandem at number two doubles.

The Beavers lost just three games while sweeping the doubles matches. Keitt and Kamal swept graduate student Maeve McEnroe (Marion, Mass.) and sophomore Merielle Kane (Vienna, Me.) at number one, 8-0, and the duos of Rizk and Khattar at number two doubles and Wang and Campos at number three both registered 8-1 victories.

All six singles matches lasted just two sets and the Beavers won all but four games. Soffer downed senior Hannah Russo (Bridgewater, Mass.) in the top flight, 6-2, 6-0, Campos defeated McEnroe 6-0, 6-1, at number three, and Wang bested first-year Varvara Maltseva (Tres Cantos, Mass.) at number six, 6-0, 6-1. The other three encounters, Rizk at number two, Keitt at number four and Kamal at number five, were all 6-0, 6-0 verdicts.

The Green and White is back in action with a key NEWMAC showdown against No. 19 MIT on Friday at 3:30 p.m. in Cambridge.
