• Babson kicks off a busy week that includes six games in six days by hosting Lasell on Tuesday and Tufts on Wednesday at Govoni Field.

• Gavin Brown struck out six over five shutout innings and three different players drove in a run as Tufts defeated Babson, 4-2, on April 19, 2023, in Medford, Mass.
• Connor Bowman was 2-for-4 with a solo homer, Jimmy Evans went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and Brown and four relievers combined to record 12 strikeouts for the Jumbos.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (14-8) has dropped its last two outings on the heels of an 11-game winning streak and suffered an 8-5 setback in game two of Sunday's doubleheader at No. 6 Salve Regina.

Brant Savage is batting .389 with 13 doubles, five homers, 22 RBI and 20 runs scored, Guest is hitting .375 with six doubles, two home runs, 15 RBI and 18 runs scored and Santos boasts a .490 on-base percentage to go along with a .367 average, six doubles, 19 RBI, 14 stolen bases and 25 runs scored.

Jason Finkelstein is 4-1 with a 5.03 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 34.0 innings, junior
Luke McClintock is 1-1 with a 2.77 earned run average in seven appearances and senior
Jimmy Weick (0-1, 0.96 ERA) is holding opposing hitters to a .167 average in nine relief appearances.
SCOUTING THE LASERS
• Lasell (19-10) has split its last six games and is coming off an 11-4 six-inning loss at Norwich on Sunday.
• Tyler DiNezza went 2-for-3 with with an RBI and Thomas Muizulis homered and drove in two runs for the Lasers, who got eight combined strikeouts from five different pitchers in the loss.
• Scott Lyon is batting .376 with 14 extra-base hits, 25 RBI and 25 runs scored, Tim Callahan is hitting .349 with 10 extra-base hits, 24 RBI and 33 runs scored, and Brad Edwards enters the week with a .340 average to go along with eight doubles, two homers and a team-high 30 runs batted in.
• Junior Adam Marsh is 4-0 with two saves and a 2.16 ERA in 41.2 innings pitched, Matthew Fletcher is 3-3 with a 3.13 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 37.1 innings, and Zackary Simone has gone 3-1 with a 3.45 earned runs average in 28.2 innings of work this spring.
SCOUTING THE JUMBOS
• Tufts (13-13) has dropped four straight games after suffering a 7-3 loss at Bowdoin on Sunday.
• Malcolm Whitfield had a two-run single in the first inning and Henry Fleckner added an RBI knock in the second to give the Jumbos a 3-0 lead before the Polar Bears stormed back with seven unanswered runs.
• Malachi Pena is batting .364 with nine doubles, three homers and 27 runs batted in, Fleckner is hitting .354 with five doubles, three home runs, 21 RBI and 22 runs scored, and Jesse McCullough owns a .333 average to go along with six extra-base hits, 15 RBI and 19 runs scored on the year.
• Jacob Lapp is 2-2 with a 4.60 ERA in 15.1 innings pitched,
Michael O'Brien has made four starts and is 1-2 with a 5.27 earned run average, and Hunter Beindorff (1-0, 3.86 ERA) has pitched 11.2 innings and is tied for the team lead with nine appearances on the year.

• Santos, who had five knocks at Salve Regina on Sunday, is tied with Savage for the team lead with 10 multi-hit games.
