• Babson and Brandeis will meet on Sunday afternoon for the 29th time dating back to the 1994-95 campaign.
• The Beavers are 7-21 against the Judges but have won the last two years by 5-4 scores after losing 12 in a row from 2009-19.

Matia Cristiani recorded wins in both singles and doubles to help 18th-ranked Babson defeat No. 27 Brandeis, 5-4, on March 30, 2023 inside the Gosman Athletic Center.
• The Beavers led 2-1 after doubles on the strength on victories by senior
Adèle Fernández and sophomore
Kamila Stasiowska at number three and Soffer and Cristiani at number one. The teams split in singles with Babson wins coming from Cristiani at number two, Soffer at number one and sophomore
Mariana Campos at number six.
• Brandeis picked up a doubles win from sophomores Nancy Zhang and Ella Chase at number two, and singles wins by Zhang at number three, junior Anastasia Sia at number four, and Chase at number five.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 20 Babson (7-4, 4-0 NEWMAC) will be facing its third straight ranked team and eighth this season after falling to No. 3 Emory (6-3) and No. 12 Trinity of Texas (5-4) last weekend in Atlanta.
• Cristiani won both of her number two singles matches on the weekend and paired up with Soffer for a win at number one doubles against Emory. Soffer went 1-1 on the weekend at number one singles and junior
Laetitia Rizk split a pair at number five, while Fernández and first-year
Chaniel Soffer were 1-1 at number two doubles and senior
Juliette Moschella and first-year
Dana Kamal split a pair of matches at number three doubles, both in tiebreakers.
• Cristiani (20-1), ranked third in Division III singles, has won nine straight singles matches and
Olivia Soffer (14-2), ranked 17th, had her nine-match winning streak snapped at Emory. Rizk (8-6) is third on the team in singles wins, one more than Moschella (7-4).
• O. Soffer and Cristiani (22-2), ranked No. 2 in Division III doubles, had their eight-match winning streak snapped last Saturday against Trinity (Texas). They are two wins shy of the program single season record for doubles victories. C. Soffer and Fernández have posted a 9-5 doubles record, including 6-3 in dual matches.
SCOUTING THE JUDGES
• No. 28 Brandeis (7-6, 0-0 UAA) has won its last four matches, including victories over No. 36 NYU (5-2) and No. 29 Wellesley (7-2) last weekend in Waltham. The Judges will host No. 44 Skidmore on Saturday before traveling to Babson on Sunday.
• Sophomore Rebecca Suarez was a winner at both number one singles and with junior Bhakti Parwani at number one doubles in the win over Wellesley. Zhang registered victories at number four singles and with junior Sabrina Loui number two doubles, while junior Cecilia Denis and first-year Chahana Budhbhatti captured their match at number three doubles and first-year Lika Bolkvadze and Sia were winners at numbers five and six singles, respectively.
• Suarez (6-3) is 3-3 at number one singles. Parwani (6-6) is 2-2 at number one and 3-3 at number two, and Bolkvadze (7-4) leads the team in singles wins, playing in four different slots. Zhang (6-7) and Sia (6-6) also have a half dozen singles verdicts for the Judges.
• Suarez and Parwani (14-2) are 9-0 in dual matches at number one doubles while Zhang and Mandy Reyes are 4-3 at number two and Denis and Budhbhatti are 6-2 at number three.
REGIONAL RANKINGS
• Babson is fifth in the ITA Northeast Region rankings behind Wesleyan, Williams, Middlebury and Tufts. Soffer is the top-ranked singles player in the Northeast and Cristiani is fourth, and the Babson duo is No. 1 in the region in doubles.
• Suarez is ranked 13th in the Northeast region in singles for Brandeis and Suarez and Parwani are second in the region in doubles, right behind Babson's Soffer and Cristiani.
RANKED OPPONENTS
• The Beavers are 3-4 against ranked teams, with wins over No. 27 Caltech (7-2), No. 10 Redlands (5-4), and No. 14 Sewanee (5-4) and losses to No. 28 Bowdoin (6-3), No. 24 Tufts (5-4), No. 3 Emory (6-3) and No. 12 Trinity, Texas (5-4).
• The Green and White will also take on No. 19 MIT on April 19 and No. 43 Wellesley on April 27.
IN THE RECORD BOOK

Olivia Soffer, who became the program's all-time leader in both singles wins and combined singles and doubles wins earlier this season, is tied for second on the all-time doubles list with 58 victories. She is two shy of the career mark of 60 doubles wins held by Francesca Russo '06 from 2002-06.
• Soffer boasts a 66-9 career singles record and a 58-19 mark in doubles in her time at Babson.
CLIMBING THE RANKS
• Cristiani has moved into a tie for 12th on the Babson all-time combined wins list with 90 victories.
• The sophomore has a 44-3 career mark in singles to rank tied for 10th in program history, and her 46-6 record in doubles leaves her three shy of the top 10.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• Babson is 7-2 this season when leading after doubles.
• The Beavers have won 21 of their last 25 regular season matches going back to the start of last season.
