SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 12-4 all-time against the Seahawks in a series that dates back to 1986.
• The teams will meet for the first time as NEWMAC foes and for the first time in the regular season since 2012 on Saturday in Newport.
• The Beavers defeated Salve Regina twice at the 2017 NCAA Tournament Harwich Regional.
LAST MEETING
• Ryan Arena '18 came through with a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning to help Babson rally for a 5-4 win over Salve Regina in an elimination game at the NCAA Harwich Regional on May 20, 2017.
• Connor Gill '19 went 2-for-3 with two RBI, Ken Rotunno '17 pitched a perfect eighth inning to get the win and Matt Cuneo '18 recorded his 10th save of the season.
• John Militano went 2-for-5 with a run scored and Christian Vargas was 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Seahawks, who led 4-1 going to the bottom of the sixth and left a pair of runners in scoring position in the ninth.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (14-6) extended its winning streak to 11 games with a 22-5 seven-inning victory over Hartford on Tuesday.

Tanner Santos boasts a .472 on-base percentage and a .338 average to go along with six doubles, 19 RBI, 13 stolen bases and 24 runs scored.

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
• No. 6 Salve Regina (19-4, 6-1 NEWMAC) has split its last four games and is coming off a 5-1 loss to Trinity on Wednesday.
• Matt D'Amato went 2-for-3, Tyler Cannoe and Hunter Yaworski both singled and Christian Homa drew a bases-loaded walk in the seventh for the Seahawks, who left eight runners on base.
• D'Amato is batting .444 with seven extra-base hits, 19 RBI and 22 runs scored, Homa is hitting .404 with nine doubles, three homers and team highs of 26 RBI and 23 runs scored, and Evan O'Rourke boasts a .378 average to go along with two doubles, two triples, two homers, 15 RBI and 18 runs scored.
• Sean Mulligan (5-1, 1.50 ERA) has recorded 51 strikeouts in 42.0 innings, Brayden Clark is 1-0 with a 5.28 ERA in seven starts and the duo of Jason Arigo (22.0 IP, 5-1, 2.05 ERA) and Kyle Carozza (13.1 IP, 6 saves, 0.67 ERA) has combined to hold hitters to a .178 average in nine relief appearances apiece on the year.
FINKELSTEIN COLLECTS CONFERENCE HONOR
• After winning his fourth straight decision on Saturday, Finkelstein was selected as the NEWMAC Pitcher of the Week on Monday.
• He gave up just two hits while striking out four over 7.0 innings as the Beavers defeated Clark, 4-0.
• Finkelstein, who has not allowed a run over his last two starts, is 4-1 with a 4.24 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 34.0 innings over six appearances this spring, and is holding opposing hitters to a .215 average.
STRONG STARTS
• Finkelstein became the fourth consecutive Babson starter to go at least seven innings while allowing three runs or fewer over the last week.

Connor Doan tossed 7.0 shutout innings in a 10-3 win over UMass Dartmouth on April 1, classmate
James Clark allowed three runs over 7.0 innings in last Tuesday's victory over MIT and Nieskens gave up one run and matched his season with 8.0 innings pitched and five strikeouts in a 2-1 victory over Clark in game one on Saturday.
• Going back to junior
Luke McClintock's six shutout innings versus Suffolk on March 27, a stretch of eight games, the Beavers' starting pitchers have gone 6-0 with a 1.25 ERA and a 0.77 WHIP over 50.1 innings.
STREAKING BEAVERS
• Babson's 11-game winning streak is its longest since 2019 and ranks forth in school history behind the program's 16 straight wins in 2019, 14 consecutive victories in 2018 and 13 wins in a row in 2017.

• Savage, who has already set a new career high with 13 doubles, is just five shy of the single-season program record held by Dave Ahern '11 back in 2011.
• Santos, who ranks fifth in Babson's all-time list with 41 stolen bases, has swiped 13 this season after finishing with 23, which ranks second on the school's single-season list, last spring.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers have outscored their opponents 54-16 over their first six NEWMAC games.
• Babson is 10-5 this spring when scoring at least six runs and are 13-3 when outhitting its opponents.
