SERIES HISTORY
•    Babson is 15-23 all-time against UMass Dartmouth in a series that dates back to 1976. 
•    The Beavers, who snapped a two-game skid last season, have won nine of their last 14 games against the Corsairs. 

LAST MEETING
•    Michael O'Brien '23 went 3-for-4 with three RBI, senior Brant Savage drove in three runs and classmate Tanner Santos was 2-for-4 with a double, two walks and four runs scored to help Babson defeat UMass Dartmouth, 16-10, on April 3, 2023, in Dartmouth, Mass. 
•    Sophomore Chris Basile reached base and scored three times and classmate Connor Doan allowed three earned runs over 5.2 innings for the Beavers, who broke a one-run game with five runs in the eighth inning.
•    Chase Stafford hit a three-run homer and DJ Perron and Chris Kustigan both finished with three hits while driving in two runs apiece for the Corsairs, who saw their pitchers walk 11 batters in the loss. 

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    Babson (9-6) has won its last six games after completing a doubleheader sweep of Emerson with a 12-2 victory in eight innings on Saturday. 
•    Graduate student Luke Tanner tripled and drove in three runs, Savage was 2-for-5 with a homer and two RBI and Santos reached base three times, scored a pair of runs and knocked in two more for the Beavers, who got 5.2 shutout innings from first-year Jason Finkelstein. 
•    Savage is batting .409 with 10 doubles, five homers, 19 RBI and 17 runs scored, Santos is hitting .321 with six doubles, 18 RBI and 18 runs scored and Tanner enters the week with a .316 average to go along with three home runs and a team-high 20 runs batted in.
•    Junior Luke McClintock is 1-0 with a 3.27 ERA in five appearances, senior Jimmy Weick (0-1, 1.13 ERA) has recorded nine strikeouts in 8.0 innings of relief and graduate student Zach Magee (0-0, 6.48 ERA) has one save in seven relief appearances this spring. 

SCOUTING THE CORSAIRS
•    UMass Dartmouth (8-10), which had Saturday's doubleader at Western Connecticut postponed, has won its last three games after blasting Emerson 22-6 in seven innings on Friday.
•    Kustigan hit a two-run homer and Matt Tempone, Cooper Wixon and Nick Bartalini all finished with two hits and three RBI for the Corsairs, who pounded out a season-high 17 hits in the victory.
•    Andrew Possi is batting .375 with two extra-base hits, six RBI and team highs of 12 walks and 12 runs scored, Joe Muzio is batting .291 with five doubles, two home runs and nine runs batted it, and Wixon enters the day with a .259 average to go along with two doubles, three triples, a homer and 13 RBI. 
•    Adam Maher (2-1, 2.73 ERA) tossed a no-hitter against Southern Maine on March 22 and has 40 strikeouts in 23.1 innings, Ryan Qualey is 1-1 with a 4.44 ERA in four starts and Carter Scovill (0-0) has a 1.50 ERA in six relief appearances this spring. 

STREAKING BEAVERS
•    During its current six-game winning streak, Babson is batting .330 as a team and averaging just shy of 10 runs per game while outscoring its opponents 59-20. 
•    Savage is batting .423 (11-for-26) with five doubles, a home run and seven RBI, first-year Alexander Wilson is 8-for-20 (.400) at the plate with a homer, two doubles and a team-high eight runs scored, and Tanner has homered twice while driving in a team-best 10 runs. 
•    Finkelstein, who recorded a season-high nine strikeouts in Saturday's win over Emerson, is 3-0 with 21 punch outs in 14.1 innings over the last six games for a Beavers' pitching staff that boasts a 3.24 ERA during this stretch. 

POWER SURGE
•    After finishing last season with 53 doubles and 23 home runs in 42 games, the Beavers have already produced 40 doubles and 15 dingers over their first 15 outings.
•    Savage, who boasts 1.240 OPS and a .788 slugging percentage, ranks first in Division III in doubles per game (0.73) and 10th overall with 11 doubles, while Babson is eighth nationally as a team in doubles per game (2.67), 30th in home runs per game (1.00) and 33rd in slugging (.492). 

BEAVER BITES
•    Savage and first-year Dante D'Avanzo both enter Monday's contest riding five-game hitting streaks. 
•    Savage has reached base safely in 18 straight games going back to last May, Santos has reached safely in 17 consecutive outings and Wilson enters Monday's contest have gotten on base in 10 games in a row. 
•    Savage leads the Green and White with eight multi-hit games, while Tanner is first on the squad with seven multi-RBI games. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    The Beavers are batting .339 with runners in scoring position. 
•    Babson is 5-1 on the year when its pitching staff allows two extra-base hits or fewer. 
•    The Green and White is 8-3 this spring when recording more hits than its opponents.
