WHAT TO KNOW
• After beginning a run of five games in five days at MIT on Tuesday, Babson will step away from NEWMAC play for a pair of midweek tilts against Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) foes.
• The Beavers host Suffolk on Wednesday at Govoni Field before hitting the road to face Roger Williams on Thursday afternoon.
SERIES HISTORY
vs. Suffolk
• Babson is 26-18 all-time against the Rams in a series that dates back to 1977.
• The Beavers have won eight of the last 10 meetings between the teams.
• Nine of the last 10 games between the Beavers and Suffolk have been decided by at least five runs with the lone exception coming in 2016 when the Green and White rallied for an 8-7 walk-off win.

• Babson is 7-4 all-time versus the Hawks in a series that goes back to 2010.
• The Beavers have been victorious in two of their last three trips to Roger Williams with each of the contests decided by two runs or fewer.
• Babson followed up a 4-3 road loss to the Hawks in 2022 with a 4-3, 10-inning victory at Govoni Field last season, and four of the last five games between the teams going back to 2016 have been decided by one or two runs.

• Babson (6-6) has won its last three games and opened NEWMAC play with a 14-8 victory at MIT on Tuesday.

Luke Tanner homered twice and drove in four runs and senior
Tanner Santos went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three stolen bases for the Beavers, who plated at least one run in each of the final seven innings.

Brant Savage is batting .396 with six doubles, four homers, 13 runs batted in and 15 runs scored, Santos is hitting .362 with six doubles, 16 RBI and 15 runs scored, and Tanner boasts a .313 average to go along with three home runs and 14 runs batted in.

Greg Nieskens is 1-0 with a 4.13 ERA in 15.0 innings over three starts, senior
Jimmy Weick (0-1, 1.23 ERA) is holding opposing hitters to a .172 average in six relief appearances and graduate student

SCOUTING THE RAMS
• Suffolk (11-5) had its three-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday, falling 23-2 in seven innings at No. 1 Endicott.
• Alex Sorenti-Burns went 2-for-4 with an RBI double, Garrett Roberts doubled and walked and Jonny Gilbride singled, walked and scored for the Rams, who saw six pitchers issue 18 walks to the Gulls in the loss.
• Roberts is batting .415 with four doubles, four triples, 12 RBI and 18 runs scored, Harry Painter is hitting .375 with 12 extra-base hits, 19 RBI and 18 runs scored, and Gilbride enters the day with a .350 average to go along with four doubles, three homers, 23 RBI and 21 runs scored.
• Graduate student Brett Bucklin is 1-0 with one save and a 2.41 ERA in 18.2 innings, Patrick Desmond (1-0, 3.09 ERA) has two saves and 17 strikeouts over 11.2 innings out of the bullpen, and John McDevitt is 1-0 with a 3.60 earned run average in four relief appearances.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
• Roger Williams (11-2) bounced back from just its second loss of the year on Monday with a 5-2 win over Wentworth on Tuesday.
• Jack Morin went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, Aidan Hawley singled and scored a pair of runs and Nick Gleason tossed four shutout innings out of the bullpen for the Hawks, who took the lead for good with a four-run fifth inning.
• Aidan Hawley boasts a .627 on-base percentage, three extra-base hits, 10 RBI and 21 runs scored, Morin is batting .452 with eight doubles and 24 runs batted in, and Nick Sheehan is hitting .409 with four doubles, two home runs, 17 RBI and 12 runs scored.
• Louie Mosca (3-0, 2.33 ERA) has recorded 26 strikeouts in 19.1 innings, Lucas Lariviere is 2-1 with a 3.45 ERA in three starts and Gleason (1-0, 0.00 ERA) has allowed just one unearned run while holding opposing hitters to a .125 average in 9.0 innings out of the bullpen.
BATTERING RAMS
• Savage went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and two runs scored, while Santos hit a solo shot and finished 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Babson's 7-2 victory over Suffolk in 2023.

Ryan Hvozdovic also singled twice, drove in a run and scored twice for the Beavers in last year's win.
HEATING UP
• Over his last five starts going back to March 9, Guest is batting .545 (12-for-22) with five doubles, a home run, seven RBI and eight runs scored while producing four multi-hit games.

Alexander Wilson went 2-for-4 at MIT on Tuesday and has recorded three multi-hit games in his last four starts while batting .375 (6-for-16) with a double, a homer, five RBI and six runs scored during this stretch.

• Weick matched his career high with four strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work to close out Tuesday's win at MIT.
• Savage has reached base safely in 15 consecutive games, while Santos extended his on-base streak to 14 straight contests on Tuesday at MIT.
