SERIES HISTORY
•    Babson is 51-16 all-time against Wheaton in a seriesthat dates back to the 1977-78 campaign.
•    The Beavers have won their last 12 games against the Lyons going back to 2015.
•    The Green and White has been victorious in each of its last 12 trips to Norton, which includes a 72-63 triumph in February 2022. 
LAST MEETING

Kelly Walsh led all players with 14 points and four steals to help the Beavers cruise past Wheaton 79-43 in a NEWMAC Tournament quarterfinal on February 22, 2023, in Babson Park.

Samantha Smith '23 scored 13 points, junior 
Katelyn Mollica added 12 points and four assists and 
Megan Bauman '23 chipped in with 11 points for Babson, which shot 55 percent and opened the game with a 31-4 run. 
•    Abby Fernandes finished with 11 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead the Lyons, who shot 27.5 percent and committed 24 turnovers in the loss. 
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS 
•    Babson (10-10, 4-2 NEWMAC) extended its longest winning streak of the season to four games with an 80-51 victory over Wellesley on Wednesday night. 
•    Mollica led a balanced attack with 13 points, sophomore 
Chloe Perreault added 10 points and senior 
Madison Odam chipped in with eight points and four rebounds for the Beavers, who shot a season-best 52.5 percent and had 14 players score. 
•    Mollica (13.1 pts, 3.2 reb) is shooting 41.7 percent from three-point range and leads the team with 28 steals, sophomore 
Samantha Reale (9.0 pts, 3.6 reb) is averaging 11.0 points in conference play and Perreault (6.8 pts, 6.7 reb) is shooting 47.6 percent from the floor and leads the team in rebounds. 
•    The Green and White ranks second in field goal defense holding its foes to 37.3 percent shooting and is fourth in league play in rebounding margin (+5.8). 
SCOUTING THE LYONS
•    Wheaton (9-11, 1-5 NEWMAC) has dropped its last four games after suffering an 81-58 loss to Salve Regina on Wednesday night. 
•    Fernandes had 15 points and six assists, Regan Keyter posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds and Maddie Mueller added 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting for the Lyons, who got outscored 26-9 in the fourth quarter by the Seahawks. 
•    Kiki Walters (10.5 pts, 5.8 reb, 2.4 stl) leads the team in scoring and steals but has missed the last five games, Fernandes (9.8 pts, 4.0 ast, 3.3 reb) ranks sixth in the conference in assists and Keyter (8.4 pts, 4.6 reb) has two double-doubles and has scored in double figures in six of the last nine contests. 
•    Wheaton has allowed 70 or more points in four of its first six NEWMAC contests and is allowing opponents to shoot 42.4 percent. 
THREE-POINT RECORD IN REACH FOR MOLLICA
•    With three second-quarter triples on Wednesday night, Mollica matched last year's total of 55 three-pointers and is now just one away from equaling the single-season school record of 56 set by Joanna Maher '03 during the 2001-02 campaign.
•    Mollica, who joined Erin Young '15 as the only players to make at least 50 trifectas in consecutive seasons, currently ranks first in single-season program history in three-point field goal percentage (41.7) and three-pointers per game (2.75). 
GETTING IN A GROOVE
•    During its current four-game winning streak, the Beavers are avaraging 71.8 points on 44 percent shooting and making 8.5 three-pointers per game while connecting at a 37.8 percent clip from beyond the arc. 
•    Babson is averaging 1.07 points per possession during the winning streak and has assisted on 54.9 percent of its made field goals. 
THREE AT A TIME
•    For the first time in more than a decade, Babson has made at least eight three-pointers in four consecutive games.
•    The Beavers have knocked down at least seven triples in 11 of 20 outings this winter and rank 18th in Division III shooting 34.3 percent as a team from distance.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    The Beavers are 8-1 this season when shooting at least 40 percent.
•    Babson is 9-2 on the year when outrebounding its foes. 
•    The Green and White is 7-0 this winter and has won its last 14 games when scoring at least 65 points going back to last February.
