SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 12-19 all-time against Tufts in a series that dates back to the 1982-83 campaign.
• The Beavers have won back-to-back games in the series for the first time since 2000 and 2001 following last year's victory in Babson Park, and are seeking its first three-game winning streak in the series since 1996-98.

Katelyn Mollica both scored 14 points to pace four players in double figures as the Beavers rallied from a three-point halftime deficit to defeat Tufts, 60-42, on January 7, 2024, in Babson Park.

Chloe Perreault added 10 points for Babson, which outscored the Jumbos 33-12 in the second half.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (2-2) snapped a two-game skid with a 72-57 win over Roger Williams last Friday inside Staake Gymnasium.
• Senior
Emily Flynn scored a career-high 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting, Reale contributed 18 points, four assists and four steals, and Mollica added 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting for the Beavers, who shot 50 percent and led by as many as 27 in the third quarter.
• Mollica (15.8 pts, 2.0 stl) is shooting 48 percent from the floor and 38.7 percent from beyond the arc, Reale (14.0 pts, 4.5 reb, 2.8 stl) has attempted 23 free throws over the first four games and Flynn (7.5 pts, 6.5 ast, 2.5 ast) leads the team in assists and is shooting 57.9 percent from the floor.
• The Green and White has held its first four opponents to 62.0 points and owns a +7.3 rebounding margin.
SCOUTING THE JUMBOS
• Tufts (2-0) is coming off a 71-60 win over Endicott on Tuesday night.
• Monet Witherspoon scored 14 points, Sarah Crossett recorded 11 points and Caitlyn O'Boyle added 10 point on 5-of-6 shooting to go along with a team-high seven rebounds for the Jumbos, who shot 41.2 percent and scored 20 second-chance points off of 22 offensive rebounds.
• Crossett (13.5 pts, 4.5 reb, 2.0 stl) has reached double figures in scoring in back-to-back games, Gonzalez is averaging 11.0 points, a team-high 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists, and Witherspoon (9.0 pts, 3.0 reb) is shooting 53.8 percent from the floor in two starts.
• Tufts is averaging 69.0 points on 41.2 percent shooting and is forcing 19.5 turnovers over its first two outings.
HIGH-SCORING TRIO
• Mollica, Reale and Flynn combined to average 55.0 points on 54.5 percent shooting in home games against Bridgewater State and Roger Williams last week.
• Mollica, who knocked down eight three-pointers, and Reale both averaged 20.0 points, while Flynn, who attempted just one shot in Babson's first two games against Swarthmore and No. 1 NYU, averaged 15.0 points and 11.0 rebounds.
• Flynn shot 61.1 percent from the floor (11-of-18) and went 6-of-10 from distance, which includes making her first four three-point attempts against Roger Williams last Friday.
HOMECOMING FOR BARNOSKY
• After defeating her alma mater last January, second-year Babson head coach
Kate Barnosky will bring her team to Medford for the first time on Friday night.
• A three-time captain as a player at Tufts, she helped the program make four NCAA Tournament appearances, which includes advancing to the Sweet 16 in both 2012 and 2013, and helped guide the Jumbos to the Division III Final Four in four straight seasons from 2014-17 as an assistant coach.
TRENDS TO WATCH
• Silk grabbed eight offensive rebounds in two games last week and is averaging 8.0 boards over the last three contests.
• Mollica has made at least one three-pointer in 15 of her last 16 outings going back to last January.
• Perreault and Silk have both grabbed 11 offensive rebounds over the first four games, which is tied for the team lead.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• Babson has held its first four opponents to just 24.3 percent shooting from three-point range.
• The Beavers are allowing just 52.0 points in their two wins this season and 72.0 points in their two losses.
• Babson is 12-3 going back to the start of last year when shooting at least 40 percent.
• The Green and White is 15-2 since the start of last season when holding its opponents below 60 points.
