SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 4-0-0 all-time against the Seahawks in a series that dates back to 2002.
• Friday's game will be the first meeting between the two schools since 2010.
• The Green and White won three in a row from Salve Regina in Babson Park from 2002-2004 by a combined score of 17-7, and downed the Seahawks at a Middlebury tournament in 2010.
LAST MEETING
• Senior Chris Wood '10 registered a hat trick during the second period of the game to ignite a five-goal outburst as Babson defeated Salve Regina in the third-place game of the Middlebury Holiday Classic, 5-1.
• Casey Fazekas '10 and Cody Carlson '12 also scored for the Beavers and Terry Woods '11 collected a pair of assists. Andrew Peabody '12 made 16 saves as Babson finished with a 42-17 advantage in shots on goal.
• Patrick Bambery '10 scored the lone goal for the Seahawks and Ben Bradley made 37 saves in goal in the setback.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (1-2-0, 0-2-0 NEHC) is looking to get back on track after suffering a 5-2 conference loss at No. 9 Skidmore on Saturday in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
• Salve Regina (3-0-0, 2-0-0 NEHC), which is receiving votes in the USCHO Division III poll, is coming off a two-game sweep of UMass Boston in the first two conference games of the season, capped by a 7-1 verdict last Saturday.
• Junior Jonathan Hammel led the Seahawks with two goals and two assists, while classmate Logan Calder added a goal and an assist. Juniors Matthew Brunton and junior Aidan Connolly and first-years Max Jaldung and Aidan Elkins scored once each, and sophomore Selby Warren stopped 30 shots in goal in the triumph.
• Hammel (3-4-7) registered all seven of his points in the weekend sweep, while first-year Arvega Hovsepyan (2-4-6) and juniors Calder (3-2-5) and Cade Destefani (2-3-5) and first-year Teddie Hember (0-5-5) have points in all three games this season.
• Senior Cayden Bailey (3.00 GAA, .906 sv. pct.) started and posted wins in the first two games of the season before Warren (1.00 GAA, .968 sv. pct.) got the nod on Saturday.
HOME ICE ADVANTAGE
• The Beavers are 1-0 at home this season after finishing 8-2-2 at the Babson Skating Center in 2023-24 and 18-5-3 on home ice over the past two seasons.
• Babson is 59-17-7 at home since 2017-18 and 103-20-12 in Babson Park since February of 2013.
NEHC NEWCOMER
• Salve Regina is making its debut in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) this season after previously competing in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (now Conference of New England).
• The Seahawks lost to Endicott in the 2023 CCC Tournament semifinals and were defeated by the Gulls in last year's CCC title game, 2-1.
• The most notable campaign for the Seahawks was in 2017-18, when they advanced to the Division III national championship game, where they lost to St. Norbert in double overtime in Lake Placid, 3-2.
PRESEASON POLL
• The Beavers and Seahawks were picked to finish fourth and fifth when the NEHC preseason coaches' poll was released last month.
• Defending champion Hobart was a unanimous selection to repeat its title with Skidmore and Norwich rounding out the top three.
