SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (15-1, 4-0 NEWMAC) enters the week riding an 11-match winning streak following Saturday's 3-0 sweep of Roger Williams.
• Gips registered 16 kills while hitting .519, junior
Isabella Allen added nine kills and Ackerman handed out 35 assists for the Beavers, who served up 11 aces and hit .282 in the victory.
• Gips (3.35 kills/set, 0.98 blocks/set) ranks first in Division III with a .457 hitting percentage, Allen (3.09 k/s) is hitting a career-best .270 and senior
Lauren Griffin is averaging 2.24 kills per set.

SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Mount Holyoke (8-6, 0-4 NEWMAC) has dropped five consecutive matches and is coming off a 3-0 loss against No. 5 MIT on Saturday.
• Barton and Lucie Berclaz both produced seven kills, Duffrin dished out 21 assists to go along with eight digs and Staples contributed 18 digs for the Lyons.
• Barton (3.39 k/s, 2.78 digs/set) ranks sixth in the NEWMAC in kills, Berclaz is averaging 2.48 kills and 2.76 digs, and Elle Rimando is contributing 2.04 kills and leads the team with 19 total blocks.
• Duffrin ranks fifth in the conference handing out 8.22 assists per set to go along with 2.08 digs, while Staples ranks second in the league averaging 5.22 digs per set.
GIPS COLLECTS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS
• After averaging 4.38 kills, 1.15 blocks and 5.23 points per set over four matches, Gips was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• She recorded 57 kills against just six errors and finished the week with a .500 hitting percentage, and put away 10 or more kills in all four matches.
WINNING WAYS
• Going back to 2017, Babson has put together a winning streak of at least eight matches in seven consecutive seasons.
• The Beavers' current 11-match streak is tied for the fourth longest during this stretch with the 2019 squad that began the season 11-0.
• The 2019 squad also had a 22-match winning streak and the Green and White rattled off 16 consecutive victories in both 2022 and 2023.
STREAKING BEAVERS
• Ackerman has recorded 29 or more assists in 11 consecutive matches going back to September 7.
• Gips has finished with double-digit kills and two or fewer errors in eight straight outings since September 21.

• With four aces in Saturday's win over Roger Williams, Stelter passed Brianna San Diego '15 for fourth place on the program's all-time list with 179 career aces.
• Gips now ranks 11th in program history with 205 total blocks, 15th with 569 kills and 17th with 768.0 points in addition to ranking first with a .367 career hitting percentage.
HOME SWEET HOME
• With three more wins over the weekend, Babson is now 12-1 this fall inside Staake Gymnasium.
• The Beavers are 32-3 at home going back to the start of the 2022 campaign and is 138-17, which is good for a .890 winning percentage, since head coach
Eric Neely was hired prior to the start of the 2011 season.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers rank 14th in Division III in hitting percentage (.246) and have hit .200 or better in nine of the last 10 matches.
• Babson is 11-0 this fall and has won 30 straight matches over the last two years when its foes finish with a hitting percentage of .150 or lower.
