SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 18-19 all-time against Clark in a series that dates back to 1980.
• The Beavers had their six-match winning streak in the series last October but have been victorious in 12 of their last 15 outings versus the Cougars going back to 2011.
• The Green and White has been defeated in two of its last three visits to Kneller Gymnasium going back to 2016.

• Sofia Scherrer del Llano recorded seven kills, Camille Flurry added six kills and Yvanna Torres contributed 15 assists and five digs to help Clark sweep Babson, 25-17, 25-18, 25-20, on October 17, 2023, in Worcester, Mass.
• Camille Sterling registered five kills and Yumeng Liu had 11 digs for the Cougars, who took advantage of 13 service aces by the Beavers.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (20-1, 7-0 NEWMAC) extended its winning streak to 16 matches with a four-set victory over Salve Regina on Saturday.

Hailey Fouche both recorded 15 kills and Ackerman handed out 51 assists to go along with nine digs for the Beavers, who finished with a .255 hitting percentage.
• Gips (3.46 kills/set, 0.90 blocks/set) ranks in the top five in the league in points, kills and blocks and is second in Division III with a .436 hitting percentage, Allen (3.25 k/s) is ninth in the NEWMAC in kills while hitting a career-best .274, and senior
Lauren Griffin is contributing 2.28 kills per set.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
• Clark (11-8, 4-3 NEWMAC) had its three-match winning streak snapped in a 3-1 loss at Wellesley on Saturday afternoon.
• Victoria Pastor finished with 17 kills, Liu recorded 18 digs and the duo of Torres (23) and Julia Dopazo (16) combined for 39 assists for the Cougars, who hit just .045 in dropping the final two sets.
• Pastor ranks eighth in the league kills per set (3.26), Sterling (2.06 k/s) is hitting .362 and ranks second on the team with 37 total blocks, and Scherrer del Llano is contributing 1.93 kills and 2.72 digs per set.
• Torres, who leads the team with 34 service aces, and Dopazo have combined to hand out 9.18 assists per set, while Liu is first on the squad averaging 3.84 digs per set.
BABSON'S BEST STARTS
• In addition to winning 16 consecutive matches for the third straight season, the Beavers' win on Saturday helped them match the 2019 squad for the best record through 21 matches (20-1) in program history.
• The Green and White went 33-2 in 2019 and won a school-record 22 straight matches before falling to Johnson & Wales in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
• Babson is also off to a 7-0 start in NEWMAC play for third year in a row and fourth time since 2014.
STREAKING BEAVERS
• Babson's current 16-match winning streak is the sixth longest in Division III behind only Juniata (82 matches), MIT (20), East Texas Baptist and Colby (18) and Marietta (17).
• The Beavers have finished with a hitting percentage of .228 or better in eight straight matches.
• Ackerman has dished out 50 or more aces in two straight outings and has totaled at least 30 aces in 12 consecutive matches.
• Fouche has put away at least eight kills in seven matches in a row and has recorded double-digit kills and digs in the last two contests.
POSTSEASON PUSH
• The Beavers, who secured a spot in next month's NEWMAC Tournament with Saturday's win, enters the week tied for first place in the standings with No. 4 MIT at 7-0.
• Along with Tuesday's test at Clark, which is currently tied for fifth place, Babson hosts third-place Smith (6-1) on October 29, visits the unbeaten Engineers on November 5 and will host fourth-place Springfield (5-2) in the regular season finale on November 9.
• The top eight teams qualify for the NEWMAC Tournament with the four highest seeds earning home court for the quarterfinals on November 12.
MOVING UP THE CHARTS
• One of four players in program history with more than 800 points, 600 kills and 200 blocks, Gips ranks first on the Beavers' career list in hitting percentage (.370), ninth in total blocks (217), 11th in points (851.5) and 13th in kills (637).
• With 15 kills in Saturday's win, Allen now ranks 16th with 568 for her career.
• Ackerman is up to 1,563 career aces and needs just 16 to pass Angela Price '16 for fifth on Babson's all-time list.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 6-0 away from home this season.
• Babson is 14-0 this fall when recording more blocks than its opponents.
• The Green and White is 34-0 since the start of last season when hitting at least .200.
• The Beavers, who rank 15th in Division III in aces per set (3.11), have recorded more aces than their foes in 20 of 21 matches on the year.
