SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (19-1, 6-0 NEWMAC) extended its winning streak to 15 matches with a five-set victory (25-15, 24-26, 25-14, 25-27, 15-8) at WPI on Tuesday night.
• Allen led all players with 17 kills, Gips recorded 15 kills and five blocks and sophomore
Zoe Ackerman contributed 55 assists, nine digs, five blocks and five service aces for the Beavers, who hit .228 on the night.
• Gips (3.43 kills/set, 0.91 blocks/set) ranks fourth in Division III with a .427 hitting percentage, Allen (3.22 k/s) is eighth in the NEWMAC in kills while hitting a career-best .283, and senior
Lauren Griffin, who had 10 kills against WPI, is averaging 2.25 kills per set.
• Ackerman is dishing out a league-best 10.26 assists per set and leads the Green and White with 47 service aces, while junior
Sophia Shaw ranks seventh in the conference averaging 4.42 digs per set.
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
• Salve Regina (6-12, 3-3 NEWMAC) has dropped five of its last six matches and is coming off a 3-0 loss at Smith on Tuesday.
• Lucy Swanson totaled nine kills, Lydia Daskalos added six kills and DeCicco finished with 22 assists, nine digs and five kills for the Seahawks, who hit just .155 over the final two sets.
• Lauren Hoyle (2.66 k/s) is hitting .210, Swanson is averaging 2.64 kills and 3.25 digs per set, and Lauren Shurling is contributing 2.26 kills on the year.
• DeCicco is handing out 7.41 assists to go along with 2.20 digs per set, while Lily Dobbins leads the team in both total digs (205) and digs per set (4.02).
NEELY RECORDS 300TH WIN
• Babson head coach
Eric Neely, who is now in his 14th season leading the program, recorded the 300th win of his career on Tuesday night at WPI.
• Neely, who arrived at Babson in 2011 and became the program's winningest coach in 2015, ranks 18th among active coaches and 28th in Division III history with a .732 winning percentage (300-110).
ACKERMAN EARNS WEEKLY HONOR
• After averaging 11.17 assists per set while helping the Beavers hit .370 in three matches, Ackerman was tabbed as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this fall on Monday.
• She totaled 117 assists, seven service aces, six kills, eight digs and four blocks in Babson's victories over Mount Holyoke, Rivier and Nichols.
SENIOR MILESTONES
• Gips, who has recorded double-digit kills in 13 of the last 15 matches, is now one of four players in program history with 600 kills, 200 blocks and 800 points joining the trio of Kristin Carosotto '19, Lorraine Mackiewicz '17 and Caitlin O'Neill '10.
• Seniot
Tatum Stelter, who ranks fourth in program history with 184 service aces, became just the 11th Babson play and first since Abby Beecher '19 in 2018 to surpass 1,000 career digs in last Saturday's win over Nichols.
WINNING WAYS
• Going back to 2017, Babson has put together a winning streak of at least eight matches in seven consecutive seasons.
• The Beavers' current 15-match streak the fourth longest during this stretch behind the 2019 squad, which won a school-record 22 straight outings, and the 2022 and 2023 teams that both recorded 16 consecutive victories.
• With its victories on Tuesday, the Green and White is 19-1 for the second consecutive season and third time since 2019.
STREAKING BEAVERS
• Babson's 15-match winning streak is currently tied for the fifth longest in Division III with Marietta and behind only Juniata (80), MIT (18), East Texas Baptist (16) and Colby (16).
• Ackerman has dished out 30 or more assists in 11 consecutive matches going back to September 21.
• Fouche has recorded at least eight kills in six straight outings going back to October 5.

• With Tuesday's win at WPI, the Beavers are now 7-1 over the last two seasons in five-set matches.
