SERIES HISTORY
•    Babson is 34-14 all-time against Springfield in a series that dates back to 1993.
•    The Beavers have won 11 of their last 14 games against the Pride although the teams have split four regular season matchups over the last two seasons.
•    Three of the last six meetings have been decided by five points or less. 
•    The last six games between Babson and Springfield have been won the home team going back to February 2020.
LAST MEETING
•    Rachel Vinton scored 18 points and dished out six assists, while Sam Houriahn finished with 14 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks to help the Pride defeat Babson, 71-61, on January 28, 2023, in Springfield, Mass. 
•    Angela Czeremcha chipped in with 12 points and 11 rebounds as Springfield shot 44.3 percent and outscored the Beavers 32-24 in the paint.

Megan Bauman '23 finished with 25 points and five assists and 
Samantha Smith '23 added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Green and Which, which was just 2-of-16 from three-point range.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    Babson (6-7) scored its biggest win of the season on Sunday knocking off then-No. 21/18 Tufts, 60-42. 
•    Juniors 
Camilla Silk and 
Katelyn Mollica both scored 14 points, first-year 
Samantha Reale had 12 points and three assists and sophomore 
Chloe Perreault added 10 points for the Beavers, who seized control of the game with a 14-1 run to open the third quarter.
•    Senior 
Kelly Walsh (18.0 pts, 4.6 reb, 4.2 ast, 2.3 stl), who has missed the last four games, has scored 20 or more points in five of her last six outings, Mollica (13.5 pts, 3.6 reb, 2.2 ast) is shooting 43.6 percent from beyond the arc and junior 
Abby Miller (7.8 pts, 2.5 ast) is second on the team in assists. 
•    The Green and White is holding opponents to 33.7 percent shooting and owns a +4.1 rebounding margin on the year.
SCOUTING THE PRIDE
•    Springfield (10-3) is looking to rebound after suffering a 72-71 double-overtime loss to No. 17/15 Smith on Saturday. 
•    Vinton finished with 27 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks and Czeremcha added 10 points and six boards for the Pride, which led by 13 at halftime but shot just 4-of-20 from the floor in the fourth quarter and overtime periods. 
•    Czeremcha (13.9 pts, 10.3 reb) has five double-doubles and is shooting 47.6 percent from the floor, Vinton (12.6 pts, 4.9 reb, 4.3 ast, 2.3 stl) ranks fifth in the NEWMAC in assists and sixth in steals, and Amanda Leary (11.3 pts, 3.9 reb) has scored in double figures five times over the last eight games. 
•    Springfield ranks 42nd in Division III in rebounding margin (+7.8) and is holding foes to 35.9 percent shooting this winter.
TURNING UP THE D
•    In four game since returning from break, the Beavers have allowed just 50.3 points while holding their foes to 30.4 percent shooting.
•    Babson held Tufts to 12 second-half points on 4-of-31 shooting (12.9 percent) in Sunday's victory and is allowing 19.8 points on 18.8 percent shooting in the third and fourth quarters over the last four contests. 
REALE TALK
•    Reale, who was selected as the NEWBA Rookie of the Week back on January 3, has averaged 10.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.3 steals in four game since being inserted into the starting lineup back on December 29. 
•    She is averaging 4.5 free throw attempts per game during this stretch and is shooting 50 percent from the floor (11-of-22) over the last three contests. 
FORWARDS IN FOCUS
•    In addition to Silk scoring a season-high 14 points in Sunday's win over Tufts, she combined with seniors 
Madison Odam and 
Rachel McMenemy to grab 13 boards as the Beavers outrebounded the Jumbos 40-31. 
•    Odam finished with two points, five rebounds and one steal, while McMenemy contributed two points and four boards in the win.
DEEP THREAT
•    Mollica ranks first in the NEWMAC and 13th in Division III in three-pointers per game (3.15) and ranks 25th nationally shooting 43.6 percent from distance. 
•    She is on pace to shatter the Beavers' single-season records for three-point field goals (56) and three-pointers per game (1.87), both held by Joanna Maher '03, and her 96 career triples already rank fourth on the program's all-time list after just 45 games.
NOTHING BUT NEWMAC
•    Although Wednesday's clash will not count in the conference standings, it is the first of 12 straight games against NEWMAC foes to end the regular season. 
•    The Green and White is 31-7 against conference opponents going back to 2020, which includes a 14-5 record in road games. 
NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    The Beavers are 6-2 this season and 30-5 going back to the start of last year when scoring at least 60 points. 
•    Babson is 5-2 this winter when at least three players score in double figures. 
•    The Green and White is 5-1 this year when shooting 40 percent or better. 
•    The Beavers are 4-0 this season and 15-2 going back to last winter when outscoring their opponents at the free throw line.
