SERIES HISTORY
vs. New England College
• Babson is 47-24-8 all-time against New England College in a series that dates back to 1977.
• The teams have split the season series the past two years, with each team winning on home ice in 2021-22 and both winning on the road last year.
• The Green and White are 6-4-4 against NEC in the last 14 games in Henniker, with 12 of the games being decided by two goals or less.

• The Beavers are 28-47-8 all-time against Norwich in a series that dates back to the 1975-76 campaign.

• Hildebrand stopped all 34 shots he faced for his third career shutout as third-seeded Babson blanked second-seeded and fifth-ranked Norwich, 4-0, in an NEHC semifinal inside Kreitzberg Arena.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (7-5-2, 5-1-1 NEHC) opened the second semester with a 6-3 non-conference victory over Saint Michael's last Friday in South Burlington, Vt.
• George tallied his first career hat trick, sophomore

• Murphy (6-9-15) has at least one point in 10 of his 14 games and leads the team in scoring while Schmitt (8-4-12) and George (6-6-12) are tied for second. Kramer (5-4-9) has a pair of multi-goal games, Kennedy (1-8-9) has at least a point in four of his last five games, and Andriole (0-9-9) is third in the NEHC in assists by a defenseman.
• Mueller (2.92 GAA, .906 Sv. Pct.) has started 10 games for the Beavers while first-year
Mason Rosado (2.91 GAA, .887 Sv. Pct.) has gotten the nod in goal with four starts.
SCOUTING THE PILGRIMS
• New England College (2-11-1, 0-6-1 NEHC) will be out to snap a six-game skid after Tuesday's 4-1 loss at Middlebury in the first game after the semester break.
• First-year Shane Adler gave the Pilgrims a first-period lead with assists from classmates Gunnar Sibley and Cam Perez. Senior Kai Tomita made 27 saves in goal in the setback.
• First-year Paul Waldhauser (3-3-6), junior David Novotny (2-4-6) and Perez (0-6-6) share the team scoring lead for the Pilgrims, who have scored just 16 goals in 14 games this season. Sophomore Lukas Washko (3-2-5) is also among the team scoring leaders and Sibley (3-1-4) has a team-high three power play goals.
• Tomita (3.14 GAA, .914 sv. pct) has two wins, including a shutout, in his nine starts this season, while sophomore Danny Miscavish (3.56 GAA, .873 sv. pct) has posted a tie among his four starts.
SCOUTING THE CADETS
• No. 11 Norwich (7-4-1, 4-2-1 NEHC) heads into Friday's conference game against Southern Maine on the heels of a 2-1 loss to No. 13 University of New England in the championship game of the NSB Holiday Tournament on New Year's Eve at Kreitzberg Arena. The Cadets advanced to the title game with a 3-2 overtime win over Aurora in a first-round game on Saturday.
• First-year Jed Brazo tallied a first-period power play goal in the title game for the Cadets, with assists from sophomore Johnny Johnson and junior Bryan O'Mara. First-year Sami Molu made 25 saves in the setback. O'Mara and junior Clark Kerner were named to the All-Tournament Team.
• Kerner (5-8-13) leads the team in scoring and has five multi-point games. Johnson (3-6-9) has a pair of game-winning goals, O'Mara (2-6-8) is third on the team in scoring, and juniors Paul Schmid (3-4-7) and Patrick Del Vecchio (1-6-7) are tied for fourth.
• Molu (1.75 GAA, .940 sv. pct) has started eight games and ranks third in the NEHC in both goals against average and save percentage. First-year Bryce Walcarius (1.00 GAA, .962 sv. pct) has won all three of his starts with one shutout.
CHECKING THE NEHC STANDINGS
• Skidmore (5-0-1) enters the weekend atop the NEHC standings with 16 points with Hobart (5-1-0) in scoring place with 15 points. Babson (5-1-1) and Norwich (4-2-1) are tied for third with 14 points.
• Elmira (4-2-0) is currently in fifth place with 12 points, with a game-in-hand over Babson and Norwich. UMass Boston (3-5-0, 9 points), Castleton (2-4-0, 7 points) and Southern Maine (2-4-1, 6 points) are in playoff position, with Johnson & Wales (1-6-1, 5 points) and New England College (0-6-1) rounding out the standings.
NEHC IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
• Four NEHC teams are ranked in the top 15 of the
US College Hockey Online Division III poll, the most of any conference, as defending national champion Hobart is No. 1, Elmira is No. 3, Skidmore is No. 10 and Norwich is No. 11.
• The rest of the poll includes two teams each from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC), the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), and the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA), as well as one each from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC), and the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).
OFFENSELY SPEAKING
• The Beavers' 49 goals this season have come from 16 different players, including three first-years scoring their first career goal.
• The sophomores have accounted for 26 of the goals while the juniors have tallied 11 goals, the seniors and first-years have tallied six each.
• The Green and White are 7-1-1 this season when scoring at least three goals and are 42-6-3 over the past three seasons with at least three goals.
BABSON VS. THE OPPONENTS
• Bailey is the current active leader in scoring against New England College with two goals and three assists in eight games. Kramer has produced two goals and two assists in six outings, and George has recorded two goals and two assists in four contest. Kennedy (2-0-2) and Dion (0-2-2) collected two points in two games last season against the Pilgrims.
• Kramer has scored five goals in six career games against Norwich, including a hat trick in 2021. George has tallied a goal and two assists in five games, and Murphy collected three assists in three outings against the Cadets last season.
BUSY BEAVERS
• Fallon (2-3-5), Holland (1-3-4) and Kennedy (0-5-5) have each recorded at least one point in four of their last five games.
• George has totaled four goals in his last two outings.
