The Green and White, which made just two first-quarter field goals, took its first lead at 9-8 on a three-point play by Silk with 8:45 left in the second. Babson matched its largest lead of the night at 21-18 on a free throw by Silk with 10 seconds to go in the stanza before Medbury drained a three-pointer from the left wing to send the teams into the locker rooms deadlocked.

The Anchorwomen took control of the game with a 10-0 spurt to start the third that included three-pointers by Booth and senior Antonia Corsinetti (Johnston, R.I.). Four straight points by Bauman, a layup by Silk and a baseline jumper by Walsh cut the Beavers' deficit to 31-29 at the 4:13 mark, but Booth answered with six consecutive points to help the visitors stretch the margin to 37-31 two minutes later.

Silk made 1-of-2 free throws to pull Babson within 37-32 with 1:56 left in the third before Rhode Island College put the game away with a 20-1 run. Medbury scored 11 points and senior Neleesha Meunier (Leominster, Mass.) added seven as the Anchorwomen held the Green and White without a field goal for almost 10 minutes while extending its lead to 57-33 with less than four minutes to go in the contest.

Babson shot a season-worst 32 percent from the floor and went 0-of-7 from three-point range. Rhode Island College shot just 34.4 percent but outscored the Beavers 20-18 in the paint and turned 17 turnovers by the hosts into 20 points.
