SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 49-16 all-time against Wheaton in a series that dates back to the 1977-78 season.
• The Beavers have won 10 consecutive games against the Lyons going back to 2015.
• The Green and White is 9-1 against Wheaton inside Staake Gymnasium since 2010 although the teams have not met in Babson Park since 2019.
LAST MEETING
• Senior Megan Bauman finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists to help Babson defeat Wheaton, 72-63, on February 5, 2022, in Norton, Mass.
• Senior Samantha Smith added 15 points and seven boards, while sophomore Anika Chinthakunta scored all 12 of her points in the second half for the Beavers, who held a 41-27 edge on the glass and scored 18 second-chance points.
• Alexis Romer and sophomore Abby Fernandes both contributed 15 points to pace the Lyons, who shot 45.6 percent and trailed by just one with 8:03 to go in the fourth quarter.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 16/18 Babson (17-3, 4-1 NEWMAC) bounced back from last Saturday's loss at Springfield by routing Emerson, 91-47, on Wednesday night.
• First-year Chloe Perreault scored 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting, sophomore Camille Minor scored eight of her career-high 13 points in the first quarter and classmate Camilla Silk added 10 points for the Beavers, who outscored the Lions 50-19 in the second half.
• Bauman (13.4 pts, 5.3 reb, 3.9 ast) ranks among the top five in the league in scoring and assists, Smith (11.4 pts, 7.8 reb, 2.3 blocks) is second in the conference in blocked shots and junior Kelly Walsh (10.8 pts, 4.4 reb, 2.2 steals) ranks sixth in the NEWMAC in steals.
• The Green and White is averaging a league-best 0.99 points per possession and also ranks second in field goal defense holding its foes to 33.5 percent shooting.
SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Wheaton (12-9, 2-4 NEWMAC) has dropped three of its last four games after suffering a 76-40 loss at No. 5/5 Smith on Wednesday night.
• First-year Kiki Walters scored 14 points on 7-of-13 shooting and sophomore Greta Minos posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Lyons, who shot 30.8 percent and committed 29 turnovers against the Pioneers.
• Sophomore Abby Fernandes (12.1 pts, 3.2 ast, 2.7 steals) ranks second in the conference in steals, first-year Regan Keyter (10.2 pts, 4.5 reb) is shooting 46.3 percent and Walters (9.8 pts, 6.4 reb) is averaging 12.7 points over the last three games.
• Wheaton is holding opponents to just 35.8 percent shooting while giving 57.8 points per game on the year.
SENIOR MILESTONES
• Bauman dished out a career-high 11 assists in Wednesday's win to pass Giovanna Pickering '17 as the program's all-time leader. She now ranks first in Babson history in both assists (380) and assists per game ().
• Smith had one rejection against Emerson and is now one of just nine players in program history with 100 blocked shots in her career.
CASHING IN AT THE CHARITY STRIPE
• After hitting all 15 of its free throw attempts in last Saturday's loss at Springfield, the Beavers knocked down their first six shots and went 13-of-16 at the line in Wednesday's win over Emerson.
• Led by Bauman, who ranks first in Division III in free throw percentage (93.5), Babson is shooting 75.3 percent as a team at the line, which ranks 11th nationally.
BEAVER BITES
• The Green and White matched its season high with 26 assists on 37 made field goals in Wednesday's win over Emerson.
• Bauman (12.6 pts, 6.2 ast, 6.0 reb) is the lone player in the NEWMAC averaging better than 12 points, six assists and five rebounds against conference foes.
• Over the last three games, Perreault is averaging 13.0 points on 59.3 percent shooting to go along with 8.3 rebounds.
• Sophomore Katelyn Mollica is shooting 52.3 percent (23-of-44) from beyond the arc in 10 games at home this winter.

• The Beavers are 9-1 this season and have won 27 of their last 31 games inside Staake Gymnasium dating back to the start of the 2020-21 campaign.
