WHAT TO KNOW
• The Babson men's and women's alpine ski teams travel to Pat's Peak in Henniker, N.H., for two days of slalom races to conclude the MacConnell Division regular season on Saturday and Sunday.
• Both the Beavers' men's and women's squads have secured their place at next week's USCSA Eastern Regional Championships.
LAST TIME AT PAT'S PEAK
• Babson's men's and women's teams placed second in the slalom at Pat's Peak on January 29, 2022.
• Senior Lauren Abdow and sophomore Caroline Johnson finished third and fifth, respectively, to lead the Babson women, while juniors Ryan Beardsley (4th), Lucas Wiacek (5th) and Kyle Wolff (7th), senior Jack Beney (8th) and sophomore Zach Carpenter (9th) all recorded top-10 finishes to lead the Babson men.
SCOUTING THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Beavers finished third in all three giant slalom races last weekend at West Mountain to secured the program's first conference title since 1992.
• Abdow recorded a pair of individual victories on Sunday after finishing as the runner-up in Saturday's race, while junior Arianna Barile posted three top-10 finishes for the Green and White.
• Sophomore Caroline Haaijer now has seven top-five results this winter after placing fourth in both of last Sunday's slalom races, and is third in the overall individual standings behind only Abdow, who holds a lead of more than 200 points thanks to eight straight podium finishes this winter.
• Barile ranks seventh in the MacConnell Division, Johnson is currently ninth and junior Maeve Fiske-Johnson enters the final weekend of regular season competition in 14th position.
SCOUTING THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers finished third in all three giant slalom races last weekend at West Mountain and enter this weekend's competition holding a slim two-point lead over Clarkson for second place on the team leaderboard.
• First-year Max Bellino recorded a trio of top-10 results at West and Beardsley placed sixth and fifth in the first two races of the weekend for Babson, which had four different competitors post a top-10 finish.
• Beardsley has seven top-six finishes this winter and ranks sixth overall in the MacConnell Division, while Bellino is currently ninth thanks to seven top-10 results.
• Beney (13th), Wolff (16th) and first-year Finn Horsley (19th) are all among the top 20 in the league with two races remaining.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
• The Babson women have won seven of eight races this season and in addition to its first team title since 1992, Abdow is looking to become the program's first individual champion with a strong finish at Pat's Peak.
• The Babson men, who own five runner-up finishes this season, are looking to secure their fourth consecutive second-place finish in the MacConnell Division.

• The Beavers will travel to Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley, Maine, on February 18-19 for the USCSA Eastern Regional Championships.
