SERIES HISTORY

•    Babson is 29-25 all-time against Brandeis in a series that dates back to the 1975-76 campaign. 
•    The Beavers have won nine of the last 11 games between the teams with eight of the matchups having been decided by seven points or less or in overtime. 
•    The Green and White has won its last five games against the Judges inside Staake Gymnasium going back to 2011. 

LAST MEETING
•    Megan Bauman '23 led five players in double figures with 22 points while dishing out six assists and Samantha Smith '23 added 15 points and 14 rebounds to help Babson cruise to an 85-56 win over Brandeis on November 30, 2022, in Waltham, Mass. 
•    Junior Abby Miller scored 11 points and senior Kelly Walsh and junior Kiara Simone Davis both finished with 10 points for the Beavers, who led 40-20 at halftime. 
•    Tathiana Pierre finished with 13 points and Shannon Smally contributed 10 points and eight rebounds to lead the Judges, who went just 5-of-25 from beyond the arc. 

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    No. 13 D3hoops.com/No. 15 WBCA Babson (2-2) suffered a 74-58 loss to Colby in the final of the Mules' Tip-Off Tournament on Sunday afternoon in Waterville, Maine. 
•    Walsh scored 14 of her 21 points in the second half and grabbed seven rebounds, while junior Katelyn Mollica hit five three-pointers and finished with 19 points for the Beavers, who were within two late in the third quarter before getting hit with a 13-3 run by the hosts. 
•    Mollica (15.5 pts, 2.8 reb) is shooting 49 percent from the floor, Walsh is averaging 15.0 pts, 4.8 reb and 3.8 ast, and Miller (9.5 pts, 3.8 ast, 3.0 reb) has scored in double figures in two of the last three games. 
•    The Green and White is shooting 43.8 percent and is forcing 18.0 turnovers over its first four games. 

SCOUTING THE JUDGES
•    Brandeis (1-3) has dropped three straight games after falling 88-61 at No. 4/9 Tufts on Saturday. 
•    Caitlin Gresko finished with 20 points and seven rebounds for the Judges, who trailed by just five at the half before getting outscored 28-8 in the third quarter. 
•    Gresko (12.8 pts, 5.5 reb, 2.8 ast) leads the team in scoring and assists, Francesca Marchese (6.5 pts, 3.3 reb) is shooting 38.1 percent from beyond the arc and Carlie Marella is contributing 6.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in four games off the bench. 
•    Brandeis is shooting just 29.4 percent on the year and has committed 19 or more turnovers in three of its first four contests. 

THREE AT A TIME
•    Mollica is shooting 50 percent (14-of-28) from beyond at the arc this season and went 10-of-18 from deep in games against Thomas and Colby over the weekend. 
•    Through 36 career games at Babson, she already ranks 11th on the program's all-time list with 69 three-point field goals. 

HOME SWEET HOME
•    After opening with four straight games away from home, the Beavers will host both Brandeis and No. 5/7 Rhode Island College this coming week. 
•    Babson went 16-2 at home last year and have gone 33-5 inside Staake Gymnasium since January 2021 with four of the five losses coming to teams that were ranked in the national polls at the time. 

SCORING AND FACILITATING
•    Walsh has hit double figures in scoring 13 times over the last 14 games going back to February of last year and surpassed 20 points for the fifth time during this stretch in Sunday's loss at Colby. 
•    In addition to the scoring, Walsh is averaging 3.1 assists over the last 14 contests and has dished out two or more in eight consecutive games going back to last March. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    In its two wins this season, Babson has made 22 three-pointers and is averaging 24.5 assists. 
•    The Beavers are 2-0 this season and 23-2 since the start of last year when leading at halftime. 
•    The Green and White has won 20 of its last 21 games when it outrebounds its foes. 
•    Babson is 35-1 since January 2021 when scoring at least 70 points.
