• Babson is unbeaten in eight career games versus Johnson & Wales in a series that dates back to 2018, outscoring the Wildcats 49-12.

• Junior Kolye Bankauskas scored two goals, including the game-sealing empty-netter as UMass Boston knocked off No. 12 Babson, 3-1, on January 21, 2023, inside the Edward T. Barry Ice Rink.
• Kramer scored the lone goal for Babson in the third period to pull the Beavers to within a goal, with assists from sophomores
Nolan Dion and
Egan Schmitt. Hildebrand made 17 saves in goal in the setback.
• Sophomore Jazz Krivtsov also scored for the Beacons, senior Jacob Banks added a pair of assists and junior Ty Mathews chipped in with one helper. Goalie Darius Bell made 27 saves for the Beacons.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (2-3-1, 2-0-1 NEHC) is coming off a very successful weekend with its first two wins of the season, posting victories over a pair of top-10 teams in Babson Park, including a 5-3 triumph over No. 10 Elmira on Friday and a 3-1 verdict over No. 1 Hobart on Saturday.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
•Johnson & Wales (0-4-1, 0-3-1 NEHC) picked up its first point of the season last Friday with a 3-3 tie at New England College before dropping a 6-0 contest at No. 11 Norwich on Saturday.
• Seniors Brent Rickett and Declan Dennehy and sophomore Brendan Doyle scored goals against NEC, and sophomore Davis Bone collected a pair of assists. Senior Jaxon Friedman made 36 saves in the deadlock in his second start for the Wildcats, and Perrin turned away 35 shots in the setback to Norwich.
• Doyle (7-1-8) has score seven of the team's 10 goals this season, including a hat trick against Skidmore on November 4. Rickett (2-0-2) is a multi-goal scorer through five games and Dennehy (1-2-3), Bone (0-3-3) and Harout Torosian (0-3-0) have contributed three points apiece.
• Friedman (4.32 GAA, .885 sv. pct) and Perrin (6.50 GAA, .865 sv. pct) have played in two games each and Jake Inzirillo (6.00 GAA, .786 sv. pct) was between the pipes for one game.
SCOUTING THE BEACONS
• UMass Boston (2-3-1, 2-2-0 NEHC) has split its first two NEHC series of the season, including a 4-3 loss at No. 11 Norwich last Friday and a 3-1 victory at New England College on Saturday.
• Senior Kevin Sadovski tallied a pair of goals in the loss to the Cadets, while sophomore Jude Kurtas added one goal and graduate student Sam Best made 27 saves in the setback. Junior Evan Googins had a goal and an assist, Devin Moran and Jack Ford contributed one goal each and Kurtas collected two assists in the win over NEC. Best needed to make just 13 saves to record with win in goal.
• Moran (2-4-6) has a four-game point streak and Sadovski (4-1-5) leads the team in goals scored. Kurtas (3-2-5) has at least one point in all four of his outings and firt-year Chris Repmann (2-3-5) has at least a point in all three of his. Graduate student transfer Conor Foley (1-4-5) tallied a goal and three assists in a win over Castleton.
• Best (2.79 GAA, .887 sv. pct) has started four of the six games for UMBand owns both victories. Antonio Tarantino (5.51 GAA, .850 sv. pct) got the nod in the other two.
RANKED OPPONENTS
• The Beavers went 2-1-0 in three straight games against top 10 teams over the past two weeks, with the wins over Elmira and Hobart coming on the heels of an overtime loss at then-No. 8 Plymouth State on November 4.
• Saturday's outcome against Hobart is the first time Babson defeated the No. 1 ranked team in Division III since a 2-1 victory over Norwich in the 2013 ECAC East championship game. The Beavers also tied top-ranked Norwich, 2-2, on February 3, 2017.

• After scoring just one goal in the first two games of the season, the Beaver offense has come alive with 17 goals in the past four outings.
