SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 37-10 all-time against Coast Guard in a series that dates back to the 1982-83 season.
• The Beavers have won eight straight games against the Bears since 2015, which includes three straight victories inside Staake Gymnasium.
• Saturday's matchup marks the first time Coast Guard has visited Babson Park since December 2018.

LAST MEETING
• Junior Kelly Walsh scored 22 points and hit the go-ahead three-pointer with 1:56 remaining to help Babson defeat Coast Guard, 66-63, on January 22, 2022, in New London, Conn.
• Senior Megan Bauman scored 21 points for the Beavers, who closed the game with a 12-0 run and held the Bears scoreless over their final 13 possessions.
• Kyra Hartman finished with 22 points and junior Kira Wood added 13 points for Coast Guard, which opened the fourth quarter with a 13-0 run to build a 63-54 lead with a little over seven minutes to play.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 11/11 Babson (14-1, 1-0 NEWMAC) extended its winning streak to seven games with a 70-42 victory over Clark on Wednesday night.
• Junior Katelyn Mollica scored 15 points, Bauman surpassed 1,000 career points with 13 and Walsh finished with 11 for the Beavers, who forced 18 turnovers and outrebounded the Cougars 49-34.
• Bauman (13.6 pts, 4.9 ast, 3.4 reb) ranks second in the NEWMAC in assists, Walsh (12.0 pts, 4.3 reb, 2.0 steals) has scored in double figures in seven consecutive games, and senior Samantha Smith (11.1 pts, 7.8 reb, 2.1 blocks) is second in the conference in blocked shots.
• The Green and White leads the conference in offensive efficiency (0.97 points/possession) and ranks second shooting 42 percent on the year.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
• Coast Guard (8-8, 1-1 NEWMAC) has won five of its last seven games but is coming off a 70-66 loss at MIT on Wednesday.
• First-year Farrah Peterein scored 14 points and sophomore Julia Mann and first-year Dorothy Stotts both added 11 for the Bears, who shot 54.5 percent on the way to building a 42-27 halftime lead.
• Stotts (14.3 pts, 5.3 reb, 2.1 ast) is shooting 38.6 percent from beyond the arc and has scored in double figures 12 times, Wood (13.6 pts, 2.9 reb) leads the NEWMAC with 40 three-pointers, and senior Jacqueline Ward (11.3 pts, 4.6 reb, 3.2 ast) is averaging 6.5 free throw attempts per game.
• Coast Guard ranks second in the conference in scoring offense (70.7 points), three-point field goal percentage (31.3) and three-pointers per game (7.2).

BAUMAN JOINS 1,000-POINT CLUB
• Bauman knocked down a three-pointer from the left wing early in the fourth quarter to score the last of her 13 points while coming the 18th player in Babson history to surpass 1,000 career points.
• She currently ranks sixth in program history in career three-point field goals (77), 11th in points per game (13.0), 16th in made free throws (220) and 20th in made field goals (352), and is shooting 44 percent, which is good for 17th on the Beavers' all-time list.

HEATING UP
• Sophomore Katelyn Mollica, who is fourth on the team in scoring at 10.3 points per game, has scored in double figures in five consecutive games going back to December 31.
• She is shooting 49 percent from the floor and 44 percent (11-of-25) from beyond the arc while averaging 14.0 points during this stretch.

NOTABLE
• Junior Rachel McMenemy grabbed a season-high nine rebounds in Wednesday's victory over Clark.
• In addition to averaging 14.6 points on 50.8 percent shooting, Walsh is contributing 6.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.8 steals over the last five games.
• Sophomore Camilla Silk has grabbed at least five rebounds in five straight outings and is averaging 6.0 boards during this stretch.
• Bauman is shooting 92.4 percent from the free throw line, which ranks fourth in Division III.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers have held 12 of their first 15 opponents below 40 percent shooting.
• Babson is 6-0 this season and has gone 45-2 dating back to 2018-19 when forcing 18 or more turnovers.
• The Green and White is 15-1 going back to the start of last year when knocking down six or more three-pointers.
• The Beavers are 7-0 on the year and have won 10 consecutive games inside Staake Gymnasium going back to last February.
