SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 31-22 all-time against Clark in a series that dates back to the 1976-77 campaign.

LAST MEETING
• Senior Samantha Smith scored 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting and classmate Megan Bauman added 12 points, four rebounds and four assists for the Beavers, who had 11 players in the scoring column in a 76-40 victory over Clark on January 19, 2022 inside Kneller Gymnasium.
• Sophomore Camilla Silk contributed 12 points (on 5-of-6 shooting), seven rebounds and three steals for the Green and White, who outscored the home team 22-5 in the third quarter.
• Emily Sifferlen '22 topped the Cougars with 12 points, while Hannah Favaloro '22G finished one rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points and nine boards.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 11 d3hoops.com/11 WBCA Babson (13-1, 0-0) will play its first New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contest this season after posting its sixth straight victory Monday against Hamilton, 71-64, inside Staake Gymnasium.
• Bauman and sophomore Katelyn Mollica combined for 33 points, including 23 in the pivotal fourth quarter to lead the Beavers. Bauman finished with team-highs of 17 points and seven assists, converting 11-of-12 free throws, while Mollica added 16 points, including a pair of three-pointers. Junior Kelly Walsh contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and four steals, classmate Rachel McMenemy added eight points on 4-of-6 shooting and seven rebounds, and Smith chipped in with eight points and three blocked shots in the victory.
• Bauman (13.6 pts, 4.9 ast, 3.3 reb) ranks 27th in Division III in assists per game, Walsh (12.1 pts, 4.1 reb) has scored in double figures in six straight games, and Smith (11.6 pts, 8.1 reb, 2.1 blocks) is shooting 47.3 percent from the floor.
• Mollica (10.0 pts, 2.4 reb) has made a team-high 24 three-point baskets (on 36.9 percent shooting) and has scored in double figures the past four games.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
• Clark (9-7, 0-1) has won three of its last four games, including an 83-51 non-conference victory over Lesley on Monday after dropping its NEWMAC opener last Saturday to WPI, 66-40.
• Junior Alaina Schatzabel led the Cougars with 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals in the win over Lesley, while classmate Mariah Harris hit four three-pointers and finished with 14 points off the bench. Senior Jalin Waters added 13 points and classmate Sarah Zambrano chipped in with 10 in the victory.
• Schatzabel (14.1 pts, 8.5 reb) is sixth in the NEWMAC in scoring and third in rebounding while junior Jacqueline Faulise (12.3 pts, 5.6 reb) is 11h in the conference in scoring. Faulise (35.8) and senior Julianne Liebow (35.6) are both in the top 10 in the league in 3-point shooting percentage.
• The Cougars, who are averaging 61.9 points per game while giving up 60.8 points an outing, have already won more games this season than last, when they finished 8-15 overall.
SHARP SHOOTING FROM THE LINE
• Babson made 17-of-20 attempts from the free throw line in Monday's win over Hamilton and now ranks seventh in Division III with a 75.8 percent rate from the stripe.
• The Beavers have been perfect from line in three games this season against Brandeis (17-17), Middlebury (12-12) and Springfield (7-7).
• The Green and White are 6-0 this season when making more free throws than the opponent.
A LOOK AT THE NEWMAC
• Babson was picked to finish second in the NEWMAC behind defending champion and No. 5/5 Smith in the preseason coaches' poll that was announced back in October.
• Clark was voted 10th, just behind Wellesley and ahead of Mount Holyoke.
HOME COOKIN'
• Wednesday's game is the third in a five-game home stand for the Beavers, who opened the season with eight of their first 12 contests on the road.
• The Green and White are 6-0 inside Staake Gymnasium this season and have gone 24-3 at home since the start of the 2020-21 campaign.
MOVING ON UP
• Bauman has tied Maura Fleming '96 for third on Babson's all-time list with 344 assists. She needs 10 assists to catch Michele Cote '94 for second and 32 to equal Giovanna Pickering '17 for the top spot.
• Bauman also needs just 12 points to become the 18th player in program history to score 1000 points, and the first since Pickering in 2017.
• Smith's three blocked shots moved her into eighth place on the Babson career list with 84 rejections. She could become the eighth player in program history to record at least 100 blocked shots.
BY THE NUMBERS
• The Beavers are 11-0 on the year and have won their last 18 games when holding their opponents below 40 percent shooting.
• Following Monday's win over Hamilton, Babson is 12-0 this season and has won its last 16 games going back to last February when scoring at least 60 points.
• Babson is 9-0 this winter and 72-1 since 2018-19 when carrying the lead into the fourth quarter.
