The teams were fairly even in the opening half, generating seven shots apiece. Rainford broke through for the Beavers in the 32nd minute, as he picked up a loose ball in the middle of the field, turned and fired a shot from 25 yards out past a diving goalkeeper into the upper left part of the goal for his first of the season.

Babson doubled its lead in the 57th minute when Grund connected on a pass to Kalishman in the middle who found the top right corner of the goal for his second goal in as many games.

The Beavers poured it on with a pair of scores in a little over a two-minute span with 16 minutes to play. Goss played a through ball from Gazo and chipped a shot over the keeper for his first of the season in the 74th minute and Gazo took a through ball from Cardaropoli and buried a shot to the low right for his first of the year in the 77th minute.

White played between the pipes the first 76 minutes for Babson without surrendering a goal before Lemkau came on for the final 14 scoreless minutes. The Green and White also had a 7-2 margin in corner kicks, including all five in the first half.

The Beavers return to action on Saturday when they visit Brandeis for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff in Waltham. TCNJ plays its third straight home game Wednesday, hosting Muhlenberg at 7 p.m.
