WHAT TO KNOW
• Riding an eight-match winning streak, No. 22 Babson travels to future NEWMAC member Salve Regina on Friday night before returning home for matches against Mount Holyoke and UMass Dartmouth on Saturday.
SERIES HISTORY
vs. Salve Regina
• Babson is 3-3 all-time against the Seahawks in a series that dates back to 2003.
• Friday's match is the first between the teams since 2013 when the Beavers swept Salve Regina, 25-15, 25-18, 25-17, at Rivier.
vs. Mount Holyoke
• The Beavers are 19-16 all-time against the Lyons in a series that dates back to 1988.
• Babson has won 10 straight matches in the series, all in three sets, and has lost just once to Mount Holyoke in 15 meetings going back to 2006.
vs. UMass Dartmouth
• Babson is 9-11 all-time versus the Corsairs in a series that dates back to 1980.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 22 Babson (9-1, 3-0 NEWMAC) rallied from a two-set deficit to edge Springfield 17-25, 25-27, 25-20, 25-20, 15-12 on Wednesday night inside Staake Gymnasium.
• Junior Lauren Gips recorded a career-high 18 kills, senior Jordan Lapins contributed season highs of 13 kills and 17 digs, and graduate student Izzy Seebold finished with 50 assists and 11 digs for the Beavers, who hit .257 over the final three sets.
• First-year Isabella Allen ranks fifth in the NEWMAC in kills per set (3.07), Gips is averaging 2.88 kills and ranks fourth in the league in hitting percentage (.376) and fifth in blocks per set (1.04), and junior Lulu McShane is contributing 2.41 kills per set.
• Seebold is dishing out a conference-best 11.04 assists and first-year Roz Cabuena is fourth in the NEWMAC in digs per set (4.74) and is tied for second on the team with 15 service aces.
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
• Salve Regina (5-4) has won four of its last five matches and is coming off a four-set victory over UMass Dartmouth on Tuesday.
• Junior Brighton Solheim had 15 kills, first-year Lauren Hoyle added 14 kills and graduate student Madison Lee finished with 14 kills and 21 digs for the Seahawks, who are unbeaten at home.
• Lee is averaging 3.32 kills and 3.29 digs per set, Solheim is contributing 3.00 kills and 3.83 digs, and Hoyle (2.35 k/s) is hitting .204 on the year.
• Senior Katelyn O'Brien is handing out 8.00 assists per set and classmate Kate Murphy is averaging a team-high 4.38 digs per game.
SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Mount Holyoke (4-6, 0-3 NEWMAC) has dropped two straight matches after suffering a 3-0 loss at Clark on Tuesday.
• Senior Mar Simon had six kills and eight digs, classmate Marion Abeja dished out 14 assists and sophomore Lucie Berclaz recorded 15 digs for the Lyons.
• First-year is averaging 2.56 kills and 2.53 digs per set, while classmate Elle Rimando (1.79 k/s) is hitting .317, which ranks seventh in the NEWMAC.
• Abeja leads the team in assists per set (4.12) and service aces (26), while Berclaz is averaging a team-high 4.18 digs per set.
SCOUTING THE CORSAIRS
• UMass Dartmouth (6-4) is coming off a 3-1 win over Lasell on Thursday night.
• Sophomore Kate Wade and junior Devon Laing recorded 12 kills apiece and classmate Marley Alexander added 10 kills, six service aces and three blocks for the Corsairs, who hit .221 over the first three sets.
• Wade is averaging 2.78 kills and 2.36 digs per set, Laing is contributing 2.53 kills and 2.89 digs, and Alexander (2.33 k/s) is hitting a team-best .346 on the year.
• First-years Sabrina Bordone and Emma Rousseau have combined to hand out 8.77 assists, while Emily Pogorelec is averaging a team-high 5.22 assists per set.
DOWN BUT NOT OUT
• Tuesday's come-from-behind win over Springfield marked the second time this season that Babson has dropped the first two sets before rallying for a five-set victory.
• The Beavers also trailed 2-0 in their season opener against Cal Lutheran before winning the final three games to complete their first two-set comeback since 2017.
BIG COMEBACK, BIG PERFORMANCES
• Senior Martina Jankovic Chin recorded season highs of eight kills and four blocks over the final four sets, while sophomore Lauren Griffin entered Tuesday's match in the third set and recorded a career-high seven kills to help key the Beavers' comeback win over Springfield.
• Sophomore Tatum Stelter finished with a season-high 14 digs and junior Olivia Leinenweber added 10 digs as the Green and White saw five players finish in double figures while holding the Pride to its lowest hitting percentage since last October 2.
COMING HOME
• After playing eight of its first nine matches on the road, Tuesday's contest against Springfield kicked off a stretch that will see the Green and White play six of its next eight matches inside Staake Gymnasium.
• The Beavers are 108-14 at home under 12th-year head coach Eric Neely, which includes a 45-4 mark since 2018.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 58-3 since 2019 when winning the first set.
• Babson is 31-3 going back to the start of last season when recording more kills than its opponents.
• Despite finishing with a season-low five in Tuesday's win, the Green and White has finished with more service aces than its foes in all nine of its wins this fall.
• The Beavers have held eight of their first 10 opponents to a hitting percentage of .150 or below.
