 • Babson owns a 28-25 all-time record against Brandeis in a series that dates back to the 1975-76 campaign.
 • The Beavers have won eight of their last 10 games against the Judges but have dropped the last two games in Waltham.

LAST MEETING
 • Junior Kelly Walsh scored a career-high 24 points and classmate Rachel McMenemy recorded her first career double-double to help Babson defeat visiting Brandeis, 81-65, on November 23, 2021 at Staake Gymnasium.
 • Walsh knocked down a career-high six three-pointers and added four rebounds and three steals, while McMenemy finished with career highs of 17 points and 14 boards. Junior Madison Odam added 10 points and five rebounds, sophomore Anika Chinthakunta contributed nine points and five assists and classmate Camilla Silk chipped in with eight points and 11 rebounds. Senior Megan Bauman also led all players with a season-high seven assists for Babson.
 • Camila Casanueva '22 scored 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting to go along with six assists, while senior Francesca Marchese finished with 11 points to pace the Judges.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
 • No. 17 WBCA/No. 17 d3hoops.com Babson (3-0) will be playing its first game since a 61-53 victory over Roger Williams in the home opener back on November 19.
 • Senior Samantha Smith led all players with 20 points and 13 rebounds in the win over Roger Williams. She finished 10-of-15 from the floor and added three blocked shots, while Bauman contributed 13 points and game highs of six assists and three steals for the Beavers.
 • Sophomore Katelyn Mollica added nine points, Walsh chipped in with eight while Odam and Silk contributed eight and seven rebounds, respectively.
 • Smith (14.0 pts, 8.0 reb) posted her first double-double of the season against RWU. Walsh (12.0 pts, 3.3 reb) and Bauman (11.0 pts, 4.3 asst) are also key players, along with Mollica (8.3 pts) and Odam (6.3 pts, 8.7 reb).
SCOUTING THE JUDGES
 • Brandeis (2-4) is coming off an 89-58 loss to Roger Williams on Monday evening in Bristol, R.I., a game that featured the 100th career 3-pointer by Marchese.
 • Thirteen different Judges scored points, but none had more than six: Marchese, sophomore Caitlin Gresko, senior Emma Reavis and junior Selenya Gonzalez.
 • Reavis (11.7 pts) leads the team in scoring while Katherine Vaughan (9.2 pts, 5.7 reb) tops the squad in boards. Marchese (7.5 pts) has knocked down 14-of-34 3-pointers (41.2 percent) and the Judges have also gotten solid contributions from Gresko (6.7 pts, 2.8 reb) and Shannon Smally (6.2 pts, 4.5 reb).
 • Brandeis is averaging 71.7 points per game while giving up 72.3 points an outing.
AMONG THE NEWMAC LEADERS
 • Smith is ranked sixth in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) in scoring (14.0), tied for eighth in rebounding (8.0), fourth in field goal percentage (57.1) and second in blocked shots (2.7/gm).
 • Walsh is tied for 10th in the conference in scoring (12.0 pts), tied for seventh in free throw percentage (83.3), and fourth in both steals (3.0/gm) and blocked shots (1.3/gm).
 • Bauman is ranked fourth in assists (4.3/gm) and tied for fourth in free throw percentage (85.7), while Odam is second in rebounding (8.7/gm) and Mollica is fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (44.4).
NCAA RANKS
 • The Beavers are tops among all Division III programs with fewest turnovers per game (10.0) and ranked eighth in assist/turnover ratio (+1.30).
 • Babson is 11th nationally in field goal percentage defense (28.6 pct.) and 16th in blocks per game (5.7).
SCHEDULING QUIRKS
 • Wednesday's game will be the Beavers' first appearance in 11 days but the Green and White will now play four games in a seven-day stretch.
 • Babson plays at home in just two of its first nine games but will be inside Staake Gymnasium for seven of the following eight.
BY THE NUMBERS
 • The Beavers have led at halftime in all three of their wins this season after winning 17 of 18 last year and 28 of 29 since the start of the abbreviated 2020-21 season when holding the lead at the break.
 • The Green and White have won 15 of their last 18 games dating back to last season when outrebounding their opponents, and have won 41 of their last 46 when holding the advantage on the glass.

 • Babson heads to the western part of Massachusetts this weekend to compete in the Shooting Touch Tournament at Williams College. The Beavers will take on Bridgewater State Friday at 8 p.m. and will face either Williams or Keene State on Saturday at either 1 or 3 p.m.
