SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 55-12 all-time against MIT in a series that dates back to the 1976-77 campaign.
• The Beavers have won five of their last six games against the Engineers, all by six points or less, with the lone loss during this stretch coming in last year's NEWMAC semifinals.
• Babson is 3-3 at home against MIT since 2013.
• The Beavers are 5-1 all-time in the conference playoffs against the Engineers although Friday's semifinal will be just the third matchup in the postseason between the programs going back to 2001.

LAST MEETING
• Senior Katherine Tamulionis and first-year Megan Bauman combined for 17 fourth-quarter points as Babson rallied for a 65-59 win over MIT on January 18 in Cambridge.
• Bauman finished with 14 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals, while Tamulionis and first-year Samantha Smith scored 12 points apiece for the Beavers, who trailed by as many as 12 in the third quarter.
• Junior Jocelyn Luizzi scored a game-high 19 points to go along with four steals, while senior Cindy Si added 16 points and five boards to pace the Engineers.

SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• Fourth-seeded MIT (14-11) has won three straight games and upended fifth-seeded Wellesley 67-53 in a NEWMAC quarterfinal on Wednesday.
• Sophomore Christina Antonakakis drained seven three-pointers and poured in a career-high 33 points for the Engineers, who outscored the Blue 14-2 to close the game.
• Antonakakis (17.1 pts, 3.6 ast) leads the league in scoring and is averaging 22.4 points over her last eight outings, Luizzi (13.1 pts, 6.3 reb) has scored in double figures in six straight games, and junior Kylie Gallagher (10.1 pts, 7.8 reb) is shooting 48.4 percent from the floor.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Top-seeded Babson (18-7) wrapped up the regular season by defeating Coast Guard, 79-66, for its 10th consecutive win last Saturday.
• Senior Emily Bonifacic (15 points, 15 rebounds) and sophomore Nicole Hiller (11 points, 10 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles for the Beavers, who outscored the Bears 29-17 in the third quarter.
• Bonifacic (14.9 pts, 8.7 reb) ranks fourth in the league in scoring and rebounding, Bauman (12.7 pts, 4.0 re, 3.5 ast) leads all conference rookies in points and assists, and Tamulionis (10.3 pts, 3.2 reb, 2.6 ast) is averaging 13.2 points over the last five games.
• The Green and White averaged 76.4 points and owns a +10.3 rebounding margin in the regular season against NEWMAC foes.

BABSON IN THE POSTSEASON
• The Beavers have won seven of the last 11 editions of the NEWMAC Tournament and boast 10 conference titles dating back to 1991.
• Babson is the top seed in the conference tournament for the eighth time since 2009. In its seven previous seasons as the No. 1 seed over the last 11 years, it's claimed five championships (2010-13, 2017) and advanced to the title game on one other occasion (2016).
• The Beavers have seen their season come to a close in the semifinals in each of the last two seasons.

MIT IN THE POSTSEASON
• After winning just four postseason games from 1988-2017, the Engineers are back in the semifinals after capturing back-to-back NEWMAC Tournament crowns in 2018 and 2019.
• MIT has won its last seven conference tournament games by an average of 14.7 points.
• Five of the victories during this stretch have come away from home, which includes blowing out Babson, 73-46, in a NEWMAC semifinal inside Staake Gymnasium last February.

HIGH FIVE
• With its 60-56 win over Springfield back on February 19, the Beavers became the first program in the NEWMAC to capture at least a share of five straight regular season titles.
• Babson has won four of the five crowns outright while compiling a 64-8 record.

PART OF A DISTINGUISHED GROUP
• Bonifacic, who ranks 16th in program history in rebounds, is one of 13 players in Babson history to score more than 900 points and pull down more than 600 boards.
• She enters the postseason with 914 points and 624 rebounds.

CONFERENCE RECOGNITION FOR TAMULIONIS
• Tamulionis averaged 17.5 points on 48 percent shooting, 6.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists in wins over Springfield and Coast Guard on the way to earning NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades on Monday.
• Over the last five games, she is averaging 13.2 points on 51.2 percent shooting.

BENCH PRODUCTION
• With Bonifacic, Jozefick and Hiller combining for just seven points on 3-of-13 shooting, the Babson substitutes scored 32 points in January's 65-59 win in Cambridge.
• Smith's season-high 12 points came on 6-of-8 shooting, junior Shaye Galletta scored eight points, and classmate Katie Jones and first-year Caroline Clark each added six points apiece for the Beavers, who saw their subs shoot 13-of-22 (59.1 percent) from the floor.

SHOWING OFF THEIR BALANCE
• A season-high six different players scored in double figures for the Beavers in Saturday's win at Coast Guard.
• Five players are averaging at least 7.9 points against conference foes and four different players have led the team in scoring during NEWMAC play.
• The Green and White has had at least four players reach double figures seven times over the last eight contests entering the postseason.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers have won their last 16 games are 18-1 this season when scoring at least 60 points.
