SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 35-10 all-time against Coast Guard in a series that dates back to the 1982-83 season.
• The Beavers have won their last six meetings against the Bears going back to 2015.
• Babson has been victorious in each of its last four visits to New London and is 9-1 on the road in the series going back to 2009.

LAST MEETING
• Senior Katherine Tamulionis finished with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists to help Babson defeat Coast Guard, 75-62, on January 12, 2019.
Payton Ouimette '19 scored 16 points and senior Emily Bonifacic added 13 points, eight boards and five steals for the Beavers, who opened the third quarter with a 16-0 run.
• Senior Zoe Riis-Fallica and Micaela Martinelli scored 21 and 20 points, respectively, for the Bears, who led 35-34 at the half.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
• Coast Guard (15-9, 4-5 NEWMAC) snapped a two-game skid with a 90-85 OT win at Clark last Saturday.
• Senior Breanna Wood led six players in double figures with 18 points and 18 rebounds for the Bears, who got a buzzer-beating layup from sophomore Emma Puddington to force the extra session.
• Sophomore Kyra Hartman (11.8 pts, 6.7 reb) has scored in double figures in four straight outings, junior Annabella Farabaugh (11.6 pts, 2.3 reb) has connected on 18 three-pointers in league play, and first-year Jacqueline Ward (10.8 pts, 2.5 ast) ranks third among conference rookies in scoring.
• Coast Guard is averaging 67.9 points in league play and ranks first in the NEWMAC attempting 21.1 free throws per outing.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (17-7, 9-0 NEWMAC) extended its winning streak to nine by defeating Springfield, 60-56, on Wednesday night.
• Tamulionis scored a season-high 21 points and first-year Megan Bauman added 15 points for the Beavers, who led by as many as 16 in the third quarter.
• Bonifacic (14.9 pts, 8.4 reb) ranks among the top five in the conference in both scoring and rebounding, Bauman (12.8 pts, 4.2 reb, 3.5 ast) leads all NEWMAC rookies in scoring and assists, and Tamulionis (10.1 pts, 2.7 ast) is averaging 13.0 points on 51.6 percent shooting over the last four games.
• The Green and White is scoring a league-best 76.1 points and ranks first in NEWMAC play with a +10.7 rebounding margin.

HISTORY LESSON
• With Wednesday's victory over Springfield, Babson clinched at least a share of its record fifth straight NEWMAC regular-season title.
• Prior to this season, the Green and White (2010-13) and Brandeis (1989-92), when the league was the NEW 8, had captured at least a share of four consecutive regular-season crowns.
• Since 2010, the Beavers have finished atop the league standings in nine of the last 11 seasons.

FREE THROW CONTEST
• The Beavers have made more free throws (117) than their opponents have attempted (100) over the first nine games of NEWMAC play.
• Babson is also shooting 76 percent at the free throw line and boasts Division III's top shooter from the charity stripe in Bauman at 92.8 percent.
• Coast Guard leads the conference in both made free throws (121) and free throw attempts (178), and has gone to the line at least 20 times in 13 of its first 24 outings.

RISING IN THE RANKINGS
• Babson, which debuted at No. 12 in the initial NCAA regional rankings back on February 12, moved up three spots to ninth in the latest edition on Wednesday.
• Thanks to its victory over the Pride, the Beavers are now 4-5 on the year against regionally-ranked opponents.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 17-1 this season and 89-10 going back to 2015 when scoring at least 60 points.
