SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 39-12 all-time against Smith in a series that dates back to the 1982-83 season.
• After winning seven consecutive games in the series from 2015-17, the Beavers have dropped back-to-back outings against the Pioneers over the last two seasons.
• Last year's loss was Babson's first at home against Smith since 2009.

LAST MEETING
• Lauren Bondi scored 32 points on 10-of-14 shooting to help Smith defeat the Beavers, 86-62, on December 1, 2018, in Babson Park.
• Sophomore Dashelle Gleissner added 16 points for the Pioneers, who made their first eight three-pointers and shot a blistering 72 percent (18-of-25) from beyond the arc in the win.
• Junior Nicole Hiller came off the bench to score 13 points for the Beavers.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
• Smith (17-2, 3-1 NEWMAC) defeated Wheaton, 79-52, for its third consecutive win on Wednesday night.
• First-year Morgan Morrison made 8-of-11 shots and finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Gleissner added 11 points and eight assists for the Pioneers, who outscored the Lyons 23-6 in the third quarter.
• Sophomore Katelyn Pickunka (15.4 pts, 7.1 reb) is shooting a league-best 64.3 percent from the floor, first-year Amelia Clairmont (11.2 pts, 3.6 reb) has scored in double figures in five of the last six games, and first-year Jessie Ruffner (9.1 pts, 3.0 reb) has made nine three-pointers over the last three contests.
• Smith is shooting 48.5 percent as a team on the year, which ranks second in all of Division III.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (10-7, 3-0 NEWMAC) has won six of its last eight games and is coming off an 80-56 victory at Emerson on Wednesday night.
• First-year Megan Bauman scored a game-high 17 points and Hiller, senior Katherine Tamulionis and junior Shaye Galletta all finished with 11 points for the Beavers, who shot 50 percent in the win.
• Senior Emily Bonifacic (14.7 pts, 9.1 reb) ranks fourth in the league shooting 52.8 percent, Bauman (12.2 pts, 4.3 reb, 3.5 ast) has made a three-pointer in five straight games, and Tamulionis (10.1 pts, 2.6 ast) is shooting 47 percent in NEWMAC play.
• The Green and White is holding opponents to just 34 percent shooting and ranks 25th in Division III in defensive rebounds per game (31.0).

DEFENSE AND REBOUNDING
• The Beavers have faced five NEWMAC opponents since January 8 and have won each game while holding them to 28.5 percent shooting overall and just 21 percent from beyond the arc.
• Additionally, Babson owns a +16.2 rebounding margin in games against conference foes.
• The Green and White has gone 10-1 this winter when outrebounding its opponents and 9-1 when holding them below 60 points.

FORWARD THINKING
• The trio of Galletta, Hiller and first-year Jade Perry all scored in double figures at Emerson on Wednesday and has helped key back-to-back victories over WPI and the Lions.
• Galletta is averaging 9.5 points and 5.0 rebounds over the last two games, Hiller pulled down a career-high eight boards to go along with her 11 points on Wednesday, and Perry has contributed 7.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in addition to posting her first career double-double against Emerson.

BEAVERS IN THE CONFERENCE RANKINGS
• Bonifacic ranks second in offensive rebounds per game (3.8), third in scoring, and fourth in field goal percentage and rebounds per game.
• Senior Jacqueline Jozefick is fourth in blocked shots per game (1.2) and eighth in rebounds per game (7.8).
• In addition to ranking fifth in assists, Bauman went 9-of-10 on Wednesday night is shooting a NEWMAC-best 92.3 percent at the free throw line.

FREE THROWS FOR A CAUSE
• Babson is one of 41 Division III programs taking part in the Play4Kay Free Throw Challenge during the month of February.
• Fans are encouraged to get involved by visiting Babson's team page and pledging for each free throw made during the upcoming month. All proceeds benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

NUMBER TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 9-0 this season and have won 29 straight games going back to the start of the 2018-19 season when takeing a lead into the fourth quarter.
