BABSON PARK, Mass.—Senior Emily Bonifacic (Allendale, N.J.) scored a game-high 20 points and classmate Jacqueline Jozefick (Milford, Conn.) pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds as Babson College defeated visiting Endicott College, 72-42, in non-conference women's basketball on Tuesday afternoon inside Staake Gymnasium.

Babson, which was playing just its first home game of the season, improves to 4-4 overall, while Endicott slips to 4-6 on the year with its second consecutive loss.

Bonifacic finished 10-of-16 from the floor to go along with nine rebounds and three assists for the Beavers. First-year Megan Bauman (East Lyme, Conn.) contributed 10 points, four assists and three steals, while senior Katherine Tamulionis (Foxboro, Mass.) added eight points, three dimes and three steals in the win.

First-year Emily St. Thomas (Sterling, Mass.) finished with nine points and a game-high six steals to lead the Gulls, who shot just 25 percent from the floor.

Bonifacic and Tamulionis combined for 14 first-quarter points and the Green and White used a 13-0 spurt to build a 27-10 advantage on a three-pointer by junior Katie Jones (Ridgewood, N.J.) less than two minutes into the second. Bonifacic and Jozefick scored on back-to-back trips to push the lead to 33-12 with 3:01 to go until the break, and the Beavers scored on four of their first six possessions out of halftime to extend the margin to 44-18 on a jumper by Jozefick at the 6:29 mark of the third.

Junior Nicole Hiller (Rocky Hill, Conn.) sandwiched a pair of hoops around a three-pointer by Bauman late in the period, and Babson used a 10-2 run midway through the fourth that included five points from first-year Jade Perry (Auburn, Maine) and another triple by Bauman to make it 63-34 with 5:21 to go in the contest.

The Green and White, which shot 45.7 percent for the game, led by as many as 32 late in the fourth quarter.

The Beavers finished with 57-34 edge on the glass and outscored Endicott 52-22 in the paint. The Gulls went 0-of-16 from beyond the arc and failed to make a three-pointer for the first time since December 30 of last year.

Both teams return to action on Saturday as Babson hosts Connecticut College at 1 p.m., while Endicott visits MIT at 2 p.m.

GAME NOTES
• The Beavers are now 7-4 all-time against Endicott although Tuesday's contest was the first between the programs since 2009 and just the third since 1985.
• Babson recorded season highs in steals (13), points in the paint (52) and fast break points (22) in Tuesday's victory.
• The Beavers have won 33 straight games when holding their opponents below 50 points and 32 contests in a row when their foes shot below 30 percent.
• Babson has won 14 of its last 17 games at home going back to February 2018.
