SUN VALLEY, Idaho -- The Babson College men's alpine ski team wrapped up the program's eighth appearance at the United States Collegiate Ski Association (USCSA) National Championships with the slalom competition at Greyhawk on Saturday, where the Beavers placed 14th out of 20 schools. As a result, Babson finished 12th in the overall team standings at the competition.

Sophomore Zach Breakstone posted the Beavers' top finish on Saturday, placing 24th overall with a two-run combined time of 1:36.59. Senior captain Keith Vella followed in 52nd place with a total time of 2:01.92, and junior Greg LaFrance rounded out the team's scoring trio in 62nd place with a 2:25.98.
