Making their fourth straight appearance at Nationals, senior co-captains Keith Vella (Sussex, N.J.) and Max Winthrop (Avon, Conn.) were outstanding in the GS. Vella earned Honorable Mention All-America honors by finishing 14th overall with a combined time of 2:19.79 - the best National Championship finish of his brilliant career. Meanwhile, Winthrop came in 33rd with a two-run total of 2:27.97 - marking his highest GS finish in four years at the event.

Rounding out Babson's list of scorers was sophomore Zach Breakstone (Sparta, N.J.), who placed 72nd with a combined time of 2:51.99 in his second race at Nationals and his first in the giant slalom. Sophomore Ricky Beneduci (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.) and first-year Mark Grundy (Cumberland, R.I.) both skied well in their opening runs for Babson but were unable to complete their second runs.
