FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Babson College baseball team split a doubleheader with regional foe Trinity College on Sunday morning, as the Beavers dropped game one, 4-3, before rebounding with a 5-2 win in game two.

Trinity snapped a 1-1 tie with three runs in the bottom of the sixth in the opener. Babson rallied but fell just short in the top of the seventh, scoring twice before the Bantams clinched the 4-3 final.

Babson trailed 1-0 early in game two, but the Beavers scored all five of their runs in the bottom of the fourth to build a 5-1 advantage. Trinity got one back in the sixth but Babson held on for the 5-2 win. The Beavers were limited to just two hits in the contest, while the Bantams recorded six hits but committed two errors.
