MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— After helping the team extend its unbeaten streak to three games, Babson College sophomore Izzy Lee (Phoenix, Ariz.) was named New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week Monday morning.

Lee scored in back-to-back games and finished with two goals for four points to help Babson extend its unbeaten streak to three matches. The sophomore midfielder struck in the 59th minute of Tuesday's 2-0 win at UMass Boston and then provided the tying goal in the 12th minute as the Beavers played to a 1-1 draw at Coast Guard on Friday.  

A starter in 18 straight and 22 of the last 23 games dating back to last season, Lee has scored goals in three straight matches to take over the team scoring lead with three goals and six points. She has surpassed the two goals and one assist for five points she totaled last year when she was named the NEWMAC Rookie of the Year and second team All-Conference.

Babson (3-4-1, 1-0-1 NEWMAC) returns to the pitch on Wednesday with a non-conference match against Framingham State at 4:15 p.m. at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
