• The Beavers are unbeaten in the last seven games (6-0-1) between the sides and have lost just once to the Bears in 22 games going back to 2004.
• The Green and White are 2-0-1 in New London since a 4-3 loss there in 2018, including a 0-0 draw last time out in 2024.

LAST MEETING
• Babson scored twice over the final 5:01 of the match to defeat visiting Coast Guard, 2-1, on September 27, 2025 at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
• Junior Josie Lee finished with a goal and an assist and sophomore Izzy Lee scored the go-ahead marker with 1:39 remaining for the Beavers. Senior Janiya Ocampo recorded her first collegiate point with an assist, while senior keeper Callahan Cottone stopped two shots in the win.
• Mia Carabajal-Hartog produced the first goal of her career while junior Bella Brittain registered an assist for the Bears. Senior goalkeeper Julia Little finished with three saves in the loss.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (3-4-0, 1-0 NEWMAC) posted its second straight shutout victory with a 2-0 non-conference victory at UMass Boston on Tuesday night in Boston.
• Junior Lillian McAughan tallied a goal and an assist for a career-high three points, Izzy Lee scored once for the Green and White, and Cottone made two saves in goal for her second shutout in a row. The Beaver defense limited the Beacons to just five total shots and two on target.
• Izzy Lee (2-0-4) and senior Priscilla-Rose Men-Martin (2-0-4) share the team scoring lead. McAughan (1-1-3) moved up to third on the team in scoring and first-year Emma Radley has one goal for the Green and White. A standout defense that is led by seniors Caroline Sutherland, Claudia Baiter and Jadyn Mapura and sophomore Lindsey Cassady has a 1.14 team goals against average with three shutouts.
• Cottone (3-3) owns a 0.89 goals against average and a .778 save percentage in seven starts, while sophomore Maisie Creamer (0-1) has played the second half in five contests, posting a 1.60 GAA and a .778 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
• Coast Guard (2-2-3, 0-0-1 NEWMAC) had a three-game unbeaten streak snapped with a dramatic 1-0 loss at local rival Connecticut College on Wednesday in New London, Conn.
• The Bears went toe-to-toe with the Camels before the hosts scored on a corner kick with 1:13 remaining in the game to secure the victory. Little made seven saves in goal as Conn outshot the Bears, 18-5 (8-2 in shots on target).
• Brittain (2-0-4) tops Coast Guard in scoring while juniors Ella Pottle (1-1-3) and Mary Arengo (1-0-2) have also been goal scorers for the Bears. Coast Guard is tied with its opponents with five goals each on the season.
• Little (0.83 GAA, 0.865 sv. pct., 32 saves) is 2-2-2 with three shutouts in six starts this season and senior Emma Acker made seven saves in a scoreless draw in her only start.

ON THE DEFENSE
• A staple for the Green and White in recent years, Babson has displayed outstanding defense this season, including shutouts in the last two games.
• Babson has allowed one or no goals in four of seven games this season and 18 of 25 games since the start of last season.
• The Beavers conceded a season-low five total shots in the win over UMass Boston on Tuesday, and have yielded six or fewer shots on goal in four of the last six outings.

BABSON VS. THE NEWMAC
• The Beavers, which won their conference opener last Saturday against Springfield, 3-0, went 7-3-1 and finished fourth in the league standings a year ago and set a single-season program record with eight conference wins in 2023.
• Going back to the start of the 2022 campaign, the Green and White are 28-9-7 versus league foes, which includes a 10-5-4 road record over the last three seasons.
• Babson was picked to finish third when the NEWMAC released its preseason coaches' poll back in August.

BEAVER BITES
• McAughan's goal at UMB on Tuesday was her first since scoring the only goal in a 3-1 loss to Wheaton in the NEWMAC Tournament last November.
• Izzy Lee's two goals in the last two games match her total from last season, when she was the NEWMAC Rookie of the Year and All-Conference second team.
• Cottone's back-to-back shutouts give her double of what she had last season and a total of seven in her career.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 16-1-3 over the last three seasons when scoring the first goal of the game.
• Babson is unbeaten in 34 straight games (30-0-4) when holding a lead at halftime.
• Going back to the start of last year, Babson is 11-3-4 when conceding one goal or fewer.

UP NEXT
• Babson returns home for its next two games, beginning with a non-conference affair against Framingham State on Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
