BABSON PARK, Mass.—The Babson College women's swimming & diving team was recognized for its hard work in the classroom with College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team honors last week.
Under the direction of fourth-year head coach
Eric Thurston, the Beavers were among 158 Division III institutions honored by the CSCAA for their academic achievements during the 2026 spring semester. Babson finished the term with a 3.37 team grade-point average and has now earned CSCAA Scholar All-America team accolades in 18 consecutive semesters going back to 2017.
For a team to be considered, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
The Beavers went 7-4-1 in dual-meet competition and recorded their highest winning percentage (.625) since 2019-20 before coming finishing a program-best fourth with their highest point total in school history at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships back in February.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
