Swimming & Diving Program Announces 2026-27 Schedule

BABSON PARK, Mass.— Coming off a pair of impressive seasons in the pool last winter, Babson College men's and women's swimming & diving head coach Eric Thurston released the programs' 2026-27 schedules on Tuesday morning.

The Beavers will be home inside Morse pool for six of the 11 dual meets this winter to go along with the annual Fisher Invitational, a two-day meet the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. The highlight of the schedule is the annual New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships in February.

The Green and White will dive into the season with a dual meet at Bentley on October 9 in Waltham. Next up is the annual multi-team meet at WPI on October 30 that includes Brandeis and Coast Guard on October 31, and the Beavers return to Babson Park for the home opener against Clark on October 31.

Babson will compete in a pair of dual meets the first weekend in November, hosting Roger Williams at Morse Pool on November 6 and traveling to Stonehill on November 7. The final competition of the first semester will be at the Fisher Invitational in Norton, Mass. on November 20-21.

After a break for final exams and the holidays, both Beaver squads will open the new year with three consecutive dual meets against teams from the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). The string includes traveling to Amherst on January 1 followed by hosting Wesleyan on January 2 and after a training trip to Florida, welcoming Tufts to Babson Park on January 15, beginning a four-meet homestand at Morse Pool.

The Beavers will host annual rivals Bridgewater State on January 23 and Wellesley on January 30, followed by the regular season finale on Springfield February 6. The Green and White will then gear up for the four-day NEWMAC Championships, which will be held in Cambridge, Mass., at MIT from February 18-21.

The 2025-26 men's team produced an 8-1 dual meet record, its highest winning percentage (.889) since the 1972-73 squad finished 13-1 (.929), and just the fourth time in program history with a dual-meet winning percentage above .800. The Babson women finished with a 7-4-1 record, reaching seven victories for just the ninth time in the 38-year history of the program. The women broke seven program records (four individual, three relay) and the men set one new individual and one relay standard last winter.
