Four from Men's Golf Land on GCAA PING All-Region I Team

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla.—Four members of the Babson College men's golf team were named to the PING All-Region I squad in an announcement made by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on the eve of the Division III Championship.

Senior Shane Quinn (Morristown, N.J.) earned all-region honors for the third time in his career,  junior Jack Berry (Western Springs, Ill.) and sophomore Aman Vantipalli (Alpharetta, Ga.) were both recognized for the second year in a row, and senior Colin Fowler (Portland, Ore.) garnered GCAA PING all-region accolades for the first time.

Quinn, who also earned all-region honors in 2023 and 2024, is in the midst of the best season of his career with a 73.93 stroke average in 15 rounds. He owns a pair of top-25 and two top-50 finishes in four events this spring and boasts a 72.44 scoring average over his last nine rounds to move up to 89th in the Division III Scoreboard rankings.

Quinn enters this week's NCAA Championship ranked sixth in program history with a 74.84 stroke average in 49 career rounds.

A member of both the GCAA Division III All-Freshman team and the PING Region I squad last season, Vantipalli has put together a terrific 2025-26 campaign. He ranks first on the team in scoring average (73.22), boasts four top-15 and six top-35 finishes and has finished under par four times on the year.

Vantipalli, who ranks 76th in the Division III Scoreboard rankings, boasts a 71.78 stroke average and is just 6-over par in his last nine rounds going back to the start of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational on March 20.

Following a breakout campaign in 2024-25, Berry has been even better this season with a career-best 73.96 stroke average over 23 rounds. He has finished under par a team-best seven times and owns a victory at the season-opening Duke Nelson Invitational as well as four other top-30 finishes.

Berry, who is currently 110th in the Scoreboard Division III rankings, has a 74.68 stroke average in 47 career rounds.

Fowler picked up the first GCAA PING All-Region award of his career thanks to a terrific senior campaign that includes a pair of top-10 and five top-20 finishes in eight tournaments. He owns a career-best 74.39 stroke average in 23 rounds this season and has finished under par four times.

Fowler, who has improved his scoring average in each of the last three seasons, owns a 75.58 career average, which ranks 10th in program history entering this week's NCAA Championship.

No. 20 Babson, which is making its first NCAA Championship appearance since 2022, begins play on the Las Colinas Course at Mission Inn and Resort on Tuesday at 8:20 a.m.
