SCOUTING THE JUDGES

• After taking the first point of the match by sweeping doubles and losing just four games in total, the Judges secured the victory with five singles wins, including four in straight sets. Junior Pierce Garbett took the match at number two, first-year Oliver Lorenz won at number four, Dong clinched the team victory at number three just before Shemesh finished his win at number one. Sophomore Aidan Wang-Fan closed out the win with the day's longest match in a third-set super-tiebreaker at number five.

SAME FACES, NEW PLACES

• Dubrovsky helped both Babson teams reach Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national rankings and make NCAA Tournament appearances while coaching numerous All-Americans and earning the 2025 ITA Division III National Assistant Coach of the Year honors in the process.
• Merson will also take the court against his former team as he played for the Judges in 2022-23 before transferring to Babson in 2024.

WANG AND MENDOZA REPEAT AS NEWMAC DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
• Thanks to a 6-2 win over George Chaidemenos and Rex Harrison at number two in Friday's 4-3 loss at 20th-ranked Amherst, Babson's duo of Wang and Mendoza earned their second consecutive conference doubles team of the week honor on Monday.
• Mendoza's 24 doubles wins have already surpassed the Beavers' single-season record of 22 set by Merson last season, while Wang equaled the mark with Friday's win.
