WHAT TO KNOW
• After playing 12 games in Florida, the Babson softball team heads north to Maine for a pair of games against Bates on the campus of Bowdoin in Brunswick on Wednesday afternoon.
• The Beavers last trip to Maine the regular season came in 2007 when it traveled to Southern Maine for a doubleheader, and their only trip since came in 2021 when they played a pair of NCAA Tournament games in Bangor.
SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 3-4 all-time against Bates in a series that dates back to 2001.
• The Beavers have won two of their last three games versus the Bobcats although the teams have met just three times since 2002.
• Four of the previous seven games between the teams have been decided by either one or two runs.
• Wednesday's doubleheader marks the first time Babson and Bates will meet in the state of Maine since 2002.
LAST MEETING
• Cameron Whitford M'25 struck out 10 while recording her second no-hitter of the season and
Sara Moore '25 recorded the 200th hit of her career to help the Beavers split a twin bill with a 3-0 game-two win over Bates on April 24, 2025, in Babson Park.

Charlotte Raymond homered in the third inning and Moore came through with a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth for Babson, which dropped game one 2-1 in nine innings after
Moira O'Reilly '24 M'25 had her no-hit bid broken up with two outs in the seventh inning.
• Zariya Anderson brought home the game-winning run with a bunt single in the top of the ninth in the opener for the Bobcats, who got a complete-game five-hitter from Delaney Rankin.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (6-6) has won back-to-back games and is coming off a 9-0 victory over George Fox to concludes its trip to Florida last Saturday.

Lexi Sealey owns a .333 average to go along with four doubles, a triple, five RBI and four runs scored.

Anna Topel is 2-3 with a 4.26 ERA in 24.2 innings over six starts this spring.
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
• Bates (5-4) has won two straight games after wrapping up its trip to Florida by defeating Ursinus, 4-1, back on March 20.
• Ella Maher went 2-for-4 with an RBI double, Emma Yen singled twice and drove in a run, and Haley Alden struck out three and allowed just two hits over four shutout innings for the Bobcats, who broke the game open with a three-run fourth inning.
• Maddy Miller is batting .421 with a home run, three RBI and a .522 on-base percentage, Sophie Garber is hitting .379 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored, and Maya Lee owns a .318 average go along with a double and four runs scored.
• Isabella Albro boasts a 0.60 earned run average in 11.2 innings, Claire Ballard is 1-0 with a 1.35 ERA in 10.1 innings pitched and Rankin (2-2, 2.38 ERA) boasts a 0.91 WHIP and is holding opposing hitters to a .194 average to go along with 18 strikeouts in 17.2 innings this spring.
WALK IT OUT
• The Beavers walked 11 times in Saturday's win over Colby, which is their most bases on balls in a single game since recording 12 in a 12-2 victory over Wellesley on April 12, 2011.
• Raymond's four walks are tied for the second most by any Division III player this season and are the most in a single game by a Babson player in at least the last 20 seasons dating back to 2007.
BEAVER BITES
• DiCampello owns a seven-game hitting streak entering Wednesday's doubleheader and has reached base safely in each of the last eight contests.
• Raymond owns a four-game hitting streak and has reached base in five straight outings.

Sophia Pak led the Beavers with three multi-hit games, while DiCampello and Walsh have both recorded multiple RBIs twice this spring.
• Ziccardi, who recorded a season-high eight strikeouts in Babson's 5-3 win over Plymouth State on March 17, has allowed two or fewer earned runs while pitching at least six innings in each of her first three starts.
• The Beavers have turned eight double plays through their first 12 games, which is already two more than they recorded in 41 contests last spring.

• The Beavers are 4-0 this season and 26-6 going back to the start of the 2025 campaign when scoring first.
