• Babson is 2-0 all-time after defeating the Blues 8-1 in 2023 and 7-0 in 2025. 
vs. Colorado College
• Babson is 1-0 all-time after defeating the Tigers 6-3 in 2018. 

LAST MEETING
Babson 7, Whitman 0 (at Claremont, Calif., March 18, 2025)

• The Green and White swept all three doubles contests to take a 1-0 lead. Ole Lepsoe '25 and senior Alexander Merson were 7-6 (7-3) winners at number one, Brady Anderson '25 and sophomore Sebastian Mendoza were 6-3 winners at number two, and Wesley Zhang '25 and junior Louis Bourn recorded a 6-4 result at number three.
• The Beavers won five of the six singles matches in straight sets with the lone three-set decision coming at number one where Anderson topped Alexander Stage 7-5, 2-6, 10-7. Merson was a 6-0, 6-3 winner at number two, Zhang recorded a 6-4, 6-3 victory at number three and Mendoza won 6-1, 6-2 at number four.
• Bourn picked up his second victory of the match with a 6-0, 6-2 triumph at number five and junior Mattias Harrell cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 win at number six. 
Babson 6, Colorado College 3 (at Orlando, Fla., March 22, 2018)
• The Beavers built a 2-1 lead after doubles thanks to wins by Brandon Rosenbluth and Chris Kolesnik at number one and Andre Libnic and Ben Roque at number two. Jonathan Ben-Rey and Cameron Gruss suffered an 8-4 loss at number three, but the Beavers made up for it with four victories in singles play.
• The Green and White secured the win with four victories in singles play. Libnic was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at number one, Kolesnik recorded a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-5) decision at number three, and Dan Levitan posted a 6-4, 6-1 result at number four. Dylan Levy picked up the final point of the night at number five as he cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 11 Babson (5-1, 1-0 NEWMAC) have won two of their last three matches against nationally-ranked opponents, defeating No. 20 Rensselaer (5-2) and No. 27 NYU (7-0) before falling to No. 3 Tufts, 6-1.
• Merson and first-year Maxim Zlobinsky registered a 6-1 victory at number two doubles against the Jumbos, and Merson produced a 7-6, 7-5 victory at number one singles.
• Merson (11-1) has won three straight matches at number one singles and is 5-0 in dual matches. Sophomore Edward Wang (8-3) is 3-0 at number one and 2-1 at number two, and first-year Dylan O'Connell-DeCerchio (8-1) is tied for second on the squad in singles wins, followed by classmate Sourish Gadhi (7-3) and Zlobinsky (7-3).
• Mendoza and Wang (16-4) are ranked third in Division III in doubles. Merson and first-year Rishi Batlanki are 6-2 and Bourn and Zlobinsky are 5-1.

SCOUTING THE BLUES
• Whitman (8-1, 8-0 NWC), ranked No. 32 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), extended its winning streak to eight going into Tuesday's match at Chapman.
• Junior Alexander Stage is 8-1 at number one singles, classmate Niklas Jensen is 9-0 at number two, and senior Artem Manov is 7-2 at number three. First-year Guillermo Rodriguez is 6-3 at number four, junior Charles Boyden is 3-3 at number five, and junior Hanri Luo is 7-1 at number six.
• Stage and Jensen are 6-1 at number one/two doubles, Manov and senior Charles Rush are 3-1 at number two, and the duo of Rodriguez and Luo are 7-1 at number three.
 
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
• Colorado College (4-1, 4-0 SCAC), ranked No. 36 by the ITA, won three matches over the weekend against Schreiner (7-0), Texas Lutheran (7-0) and Concordia (6-1) in Texas.
• Junior Dominik Kaminski (3-5) went 2-1 at number one singles over the weekend. Sophomore Sam Dilworth (5-3) is 3-1 in dual matches, including 2-1 at number two, and classmate Lenny Lehmitz (6-4) has own three in a row and numbers three and two. Sophomore Ross Cockrell (4-2) is 3-1 at number four, first-year Sam Lessard (5-1) is 3-0 at number five, and junior Hudson Chris (4-1) is 3-0 at number six.
• Lehmitz and Dilworth are 4-0 in doubles, including 3-0 at number one, and Lessard and senior Nick Anderson are 4-0, including 3-0 at number three. Kaminski and junior Justin Boder are 3-1, including 3-0 at number two.

MERSON, ZLOBINSKY SWEEP NEWMAC WEEKLY HONORS
• Merson and Zlobinsky were named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Doubles Team of the Week and Merson was tabbed Singles Player of the Week back on March 2 in the second round of men's tennis weekly honors this season.
• Merson went 2-0 at number one singles as Babson split its matches against a pair of nationally-ranked foes, and the duo went 2-0 while not dropping a point at number two doubles.

ITA TEAM RANKINGS
• Babson, which climbed as high as No. 11 in last year's ITA Division III regular season rankings on April 2 and April 9, finished 11th in the 2024-25 final rankings.
• The Beavers were ranked No. 12 in this year's preseason rankings in January, and moved into a tie for 11th with Amherst in the March 6 rankings.

ITA INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS
• Babson was well represented when the ITA released its first national and regional singles and doubles rankings of the 2025-26 season in November.
• The top ranking for Babson came in doubles where Mendoza and Wang have ascended to No. 3 nationally in addition to claiming the top in the northeast region. Merson is ranked 17th nationally in singles, while Wang will enter the spring at No. 42.
• Merson (4th), Wang (12th) and Mendoza (19th) are all among the top 20 in singles in the northeast region as well. 

UP NEXT
• The Beavers will compete in the Stag-Hen Invitational Friday and Saturday in Claremont, Calif., hosted by No. 1 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and No. 16 Pomona Pitzer. Babson will face No. 2 Chicago at 1 p.m. ET in Friday's opener, and other schools in the tournament include No. 5 Tufts, No. 6 Johns Hopkins, No. 7 Middlebury, and No. 14 Trinity (Texas).
